"This is a rave review for Rock-it Surfaces. Initially we were sent to various other stone fabricators and yards to find granite for our new kitchen. We found no granite that we loved at 3 of the largest stone yards in San Diego County. Rock-it Surfaces stone yard was small by comparison to the other places but the superior choices they had were amazing. We found 5 or 6 stones that we really liked and 2 or 3 that we absolutely loved. The one we chose was Netuno Bordeaux Leather. The leather refers to the finish which is not the typical high gloss stone but a subtler "soft" seeming finish. We absolutely love it with our new quarter-sawn cherry cabinets. Save yourself some time looking for granite and go to Rock-it Surfaces first. As for the fabrication of the stone Rock-it is incredibly good. There are several seams that are invisible. The measuring is done by laser and then the stone is photographed and pieced together to minimize the appearance of seams. We can not say enough about how happy we are with the choices of stones and the end product of our counter. Thank you Rock-it Surfaces."

"I was referred to this company by another stone dealer who said they had the best stone and were the best fabricators and installers. They only sell and work with soapstone, and have been doing it a long time. They were very helpful, told me about the different types of soapstone in their yard, were very patient in helping me to pick out a slab. <br /> The finished product was absolutely perfect. The installation crew did a beautiful job, even fabricating a small piece on-site so it would fit the space perfectly, and match the veins in the counter top that it 's butted up to. There is not the slightest flaw of any sort in the counter tops; they fit perfectly, and are finished perfectly. The crew was respectful, and cleaned up everything really well, much better than the other crews involved in the kitchen replacement.  <br /> My only less-than-happy part of the experience was that it was a bit difficult to communicate with them regarding work dates. I know they were really busy, and I was really stressed, (no kitchen for 4 months - ugh!), so it probably seemed like a bigger deal than it should have. Nonetheless, I think communication could have been a bit more timely. "Our master bath shower has a limestone wall in it.  Unfortunately Lime-Away got used on the wall and created ugly spots and streaks on the wall.  We contacted our tile installer who said he had complete faith that the guys from Pellegrino Stone Care would be able to help us.  The guys from Pellegrino were able to hone, buff, re-polish and seal the limestone tile on the wall so it looked brand new.  <br /> <br /> They also provided some great advice on how to best care for the limestone wall. <br /> <br />It's hardly a negative but the only down-side was that we had to wait 2 weeks from the time we scheduled the appointment until they had time to do the job but that probably means they're popular because of the good work they do.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"
