"I hired the Popcorn Squad a few years ago to remove popcorn from most of the ceilings in my home. Rick and his crew were wonderful and did a fabulous job. Recently, however, I hired Site Manager, Rob Pearson, to do some painting, update my kitchen backsplash, and do some electrical work. We agreed to split the work - painting and electrical work first. I paid him for that work and he never returned to complete the backsplash. He left several of the accent tiles semi-primed and a mess (since the primer didn't adhere properly.) After several attempts to reach him, I finally gave up and hired a different contractor who did a wonderful job. He also left the bathroom a mess. He touched up paint and it didn't dry well, which left the bathroom two different colors. It would have been so simple to fix the work he was paid to do. Instead, he ignored my calls/texts. Very disappointing!!!!"

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Pineville, NC

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
