"John Krause Construction recently replaced my roof. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the price we paid. Their crew was professional and courteous, and a pleasure to work with. They took extra care to clean up my entire yard and ensure I was happy with the job. I would highly recommend this company for any and all home improvement projects."

"I would definitely contact William Mackay Roofing again! I was told by a different contractor who fixed some gutters, that I needed to have someone who knew how to fix flat roofs inspect my flat porch roof. After asking around, several people highly recommended contacting William Mackay. Brittany quickly scheduled for a technician to come out -- and the same day Mr. Mackay inspected my roof and emailed me the proposal. He answered all my questions (as did Brittany!) The work was scheduled quickly - and the installers/technicians completed the work in one day. Everything was cleaned up (old roof pieces, etc) afterwards. I was a bit wary about having anything done to my home with COVID-19 -- but everyone really seemed aware of social distancing. I was very happy with how streamlined this went, and how pleasant it was to work with William Mackay Roofing."

"Tony and EA roofing are great! I needed to have my roof replaced due to hail damage. Tony helped to facilitate the entire process for me and made everything as easy as can be. Their guys put on a great new roof using landmark pro materials. They were in and out in 1 day, cleaned everything up and left us with a beautiful new roof. I highly recommend EA roofing. Thanks Tony!"

"Excellent work! At least 1/3 of my roof on the north side had a great deal of moss on it. On much of the rest of the roof there were small amounts of moss along the bottom edge of shingles, and there were patches in scattered places on the main part of the shingles. After Hector and his son cleaned the roof, it looked brand new. They removed plants and furniture from our deck before the job and replaced them after the job. They even did a light washing of the vinyl siding of the house, which was outside the agreed-upon scope of work, but they did not charge me for it. As a former member of a site safety office in a then-Fortune 50 company, I was particularly impressed with the excellent precautions they took to insure their safety on the roof during the job. Hector’s 27+ years of experience was evident in every aspect of the job. I plan to bring him back in a year for annual maintenance. I definitely recommend No More Dirty Roofs to any home owner needing roof cleaning."

"The company showed up on time and conducted the shingle replacement being careful not to damage the gardens around the house. They brought the roof up to current code, (the roof no longer complied with local codes), and worked with our chimney company to install the flashing properly. The cleanup was performed in an acceptable manner and the work was finished on time. Follow-up inspections by the company and I showed I had a good roof that was going to last another long time. I would definitely recommend this company for roof work."

"Zack was serously sick at the time and we had some scheduling problems but he sent his partner to do the work. Did an outstanding job on my old very dirty roof which was stained from decades of leaves. I had some concerns about the pressure on the shingles but the advanced brush technique used for all the pressure washing and chemicals on roof made it look new again. Likewise the other areas. The deck which was in terrible shape had two coats applied by brush as I requested and easily the best it has ever looked! Would use again in a heartbeat since I have had some very bad staining jobs in the past from other companies. Nice to have someone who does their own work and knows the technique."

"I am afraid that Angie's List consumers are very generous in their grades. When I went to school, "C" meant average. Hammer and Nail was "Average", (but barely so) on this project. First, consumers should be aware that Hammer and Nail does not do the actual installation. They rely on sub-contractors or sub-sub contractors to do the install. If something goes wrong, the consumer will be asked to look to the subcontractor (not Hammer and Nail) for a solution. On this job, the workers who arrived for the installation could barely speak English. While perfectly pleasant, it was impossible to communicate with the two Hispanic gentlemen and one Asian who appeared on the site. They didn't seem to know what was expected and were unable to communicate with the consumer about the job. When the project manager arrived, things proceeded apace. The window installation was not without problems. The hardware kept popping off the windows and the windows wouldn't shut properly. Ultimately, with return visits from the subcontractor, the problems were ironed out. When the subcontractor asked for final payment, I went to job site and was horrified by the debris, dust and detritus still at the work site. The subcontractors cleaned up the job, but were prepared to leave without doing so. This was a "C" experience, at best. Average, simply average.
