He was professional in every way; he listened and attended to a number of small electrical issues; mainly outlets not working, which required new GFI's. He also re-set the air flow on my cadet heaters for safety. I was pleased that he finished in under 90 minutes, and that my issues were solved without any major work, parts, or re-wiring. Given this, I was a bit taken aback by the charge of $750. I haven't needed to hire an electrician for a number of years, so I am not sure if this charge is reasonable, but it did seem high. Because the job was so small, I did not request an estimate before work started. I guess that would be a good idea, and I will do so in the future. Otherwise, John was polite, respectful, and answered all of my questions. The work was great except no cover plate was put on my bathroom outlet, a small oversight. I would recommend Horak Electric, Inc and I will probably use Horak in the future, after securing a quote:)"

"We've got American Home Shield. So that kinda varies but united air temp has done some work for us. Probably a couple years ago, I think so. I think its two years ago. They did work on our air conditioning. Well you know with American Home Shield you only pay $75.00. You sign up for a year , its like something you subscribe to.  You call and contact American Home Shield and they have somebody contact you whose in line with their services and agrees to work with them. You pay $75.00 and if its not done correctly for each visit but if they come back twice you don't pay again. Its like 400 and something a year. Its fabulous, its fabulous. If you need plumbing , H VAC, lighting, its amazing. Its worth every dime. And if they can't fix it they replace it at no charge unless you want to upgrade There are some different companies but even when we refinanced our house they had us, no we bought another house in Winchester for our son. And they made us have it in with our policy and they use American Home shield. its fabulous and you don't have to do the searching or anything, If you aren't happy you just tell American Home shield. One time United Air Temp tried to talk us into , they did some plumbing work too, and they were going try to talk us into replacing it with a cheap model. That isn't American Home Shield policy its with the same thing or you can pay to upgrade. Pay the balance of an upgrade. We use it all the time. When my son has issues with his house I tell him just call American Home Shield. They guarantee they will be out within 72 hrs but its usually within 24 hours. We contacted them last week about my son's air conditioning. They came out right away, they had to order something. They had to come back out and they did last Wednesday and they fixed it."
