He did a great job of communicating with me, pricing several different options I wanted to look at, he was very reliable, thorough and did a quality job for me and his pricing was competitive. He was very helpful and willing to let me pick out my own balusters and deck post lights for my handrails and could not have been more accommodating or professional. He completed the new deck in a timely manner and the men he had working for him were very fast and did good work. I waited 4 mos to have the deck stained and noticed a few nails that had missed the floor joists and Jeff the owner gladly sent one of his men back to correct the problem. "We had gotten 3 estimates to have our old wooden deck torn down and a new composite deck built. We were impressed with Brian Snider's suggestions as to the new layout, his knowledge and expertise and his price. He answered the many questions we had, unlike another builder who was eager to book the job but refused to answer my questions as to why his quote was double Deckbuilder"s quote. The workers were consistently prompt, courteous and professional. They tore down the old deck quickly and hauled away all debris. Once they began work for the day they worked til the task at hand was completed. There was good communication with the workers and Brian throughout the process. I initially wanted stadium steps as we had them with the previous deck. Brian suggested ways we could improve our space and I'm so glad we took his advice. Our deck is 16 x 20 and has the look and feel we were hoping for. The quality of the work done is excellent and the finished product far exceeded our expectations. "It has gone very smoothly, I worked with Alfred Pickett, (205) 837-1011, who quoted the job, scheduled the job with one of Authentic Restoration's roofing crews. It is Alfred who stood fast that our roof was damaged and likely that our insurance adjuster would approve coverage payments. This occurred on an incredible day when I coincidentally paid a home inspector to inspect a small area on my roof that another "sub" of mine had patched. Alfred was standing nearby and we didn't say a word that Alfred was a roofer. I asked the Home Inspector to check our roof while he was up there - and he came down and told me the roof was not damaged by hail! When the inspector left, Alfred showed me on his "Tablet" the picture he took of our roof and there were many pale charcoal-colored spots in the picture. This was the hail damage we suspected that occurred in April 2017. Our terrific Cincinnati Insurance Co. paid all of our $40,638 roofing/new gutters bill except a $2,500 deductible that we happily paid. Authentic Restoration performed a great job on our home's roof and (don't forget) gutters. I am so big on Restoration that we got my youngest Stepson's home re-roofed due to hail damage also, and happily this home was covered by Cincinnati Insurance also (hail damage). In addition, I've led, so far, two of my neighbors who own luxury homes with hail-damaged roofs to Alfred and they are getting new replacement roofs covered by insurance. Alfred has also made things easy in doing our two jobs and I am very fortunate that we crossed paths because he has saved my wife and I some serious money and made it easy!!"
