"We had already been quoted by several other asphalt companies when D&D approached us. Their price was better and they were ready to do the work. They were clean cut, well spoken, polite and courteous. They answered all of our questions and concerns. The work was completed quickly and professionally."

"<p>I contacted Kickin' Asphalt to bid a job of replacing a driveway and associated parking pads that were deteriorating due to an unstable base and poor initial installation by the general contractor when the house was built 15 years ago. The owner of Kickin' Asphalt was very responsive and gave me what I considered a extremely fair and honest appraisal of what would be required to fix the driveway. I agreed to accept his bid and he and his crew arrived on site the next day at the agreed hour. Once the process of removing the existing concrete driveway it became apparent that the base soil was very unstable and the blacktop paving that we had agreed upon would not be the durable driveway that I wanted. The owner carefully explained the situation and proposed a workable solution that would be more durable and cost effective. The work progressed smoothly and the owner kept me updated on each phase of the work. The work was finished quickly and I am very satisfied that this project came in on time and under budget. This is a  company that has skilled workers, honest appraisals and feedback, and exceptional value for the dollars spent. I highly recommend.</p>"

"Joe is hands down my go to guy for Asphalt and our concrete sidewalks. He works in our community doing our driveways and any other pavement job needed. He always does a fantastic job at getting the job done in time and communicates quickly. The work he does shows how much he cares and makes sure the work is 100% done to our satisfaction. The job sites are always clean. I won't call anyone else. We appreciate him and his crew for their genuine work. Thanks Joe!!"

"They absolutely exceeded all of my expectations.  Our driveways are absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very easy to work with and were highlly professional. Harry Gallagher himself was on the job all day long over seeing what his team was doing.  It wasn't one of those companies where the head contractor makes the deal and then sends a crew out to do it and you never see the head contractor again.  They finished the job in one day, even though they worked approximately twelve hours.  Harry and his crew were very courteous and sympathetic of our needs and desires and worked diligently with us to be sure it was a great job done to our satisfaction.   <br /> <br /> I did comparison shop before I selected Elite to do the job.  I got three bids and I went with the contractor that I felt would do me the best job for my money, and I was not mistaken.   <br /> <br /> I am truly grateful to Harry Gallagher and Elite Asphalt for the fantastic job they did.  I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that is looking for this kind of work to be done.   <br /> <br /> My perception of Mr. Gallagher is that he is a good christian man and an honest business man that will do you a good job. <br /> <br /> <br /> One more time thank you Harry Gallagher and Elite Asphalt for a job way past well done. <br /> <br /> Thanks, Pam Freeman"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Pipe Creek, TX

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
