"We had several inches of water in our basement last summer. This required the fan to be replaced on our AC/Heating unit. When replacing the fan, one of the wires required for igniting the gas burner wasn't reconnected (We are no longer using THAT company). When the weather turned cold this fall, the furnace wouldn't start! Called up Stout & Evink and they were able to send a repairman the next day. Very easy to work with, he asked be the background for the problem. We went down stairs and he opened up the furnace. Immediately, he found the loose wire (I feel embarrassed that I didn't see it myself!) Fixing that, he stayed until he was sure that was the only issue. While waiting, he tweaked the system so that it would run more efficiently, fixed a problem with the condensate pump, and gave me tips on how to clean out the ducts. We are definitely using them again in the future! Thanks!"
