"My wife and I just purchased our first house.
We first emailed Ciro and we setup Satruday as an estimate. He was on time and gave us a quote within a few hours after meeting on Saturday. I was a little worried since we had to schedule the start date to be 3 weeks after the estimate, but he assured us his crew would be there at 8am on that day. He did come on the stated day about 8am and his crew was very good, worked fast but with care. They cover all floors and walls and clean up everyday when they leave.
We have plaster ceilings, even before they started using asbestos, and it is so thick and difficult to remove. I removed one room myself and that was enough for me to ask Ciro to give us a quote to finish the ceiling. He gave us a good price and they had the ceiling scrapped and ready for mud in one day. It would have taken me over a week to do that. the job was quoted as taking 7 days and they were done in 6 days. they come everyday, on time, are professional, and do quality work. not all contractors are that reliable and come everyday on time.

The entry way has 4 doors in it and has a lot of small pieces and cutting to fit. they did a great job on it.

in the bedroom there was one major crack in the plaster wall, 3 smaller cracks,  several little holes, and the window sills needed some attention. I was going to repair the cracks myself but Ciro's crew fixed all the cracks and holes in walls and they didnt even have to fix them, it wasnt part of the job and I didnt ask them to fix it either. That saved me a big headache.

I am doing the trim myself and am using a manual saw with an old school wood miter block, tiring and takes forever. He left me his chop saw all weekend so I could cut the trim with better accuracy and faster. I was able to cut all the trim in less then two hours and the angles are perfect.

Menaci Drywall also does level 5 skim on walls and ceiling. I didnt know what that meant until recently but basically they mud the entire wall to gaurantee the paint job will come out flawless, you will not see any seems when paint is done. not all contractors do level 5 skim, or they will charge you extra for that.

My uncle is a contractor, and my Dad was also a contractor my whole childhood. So I have a lot of experience with contractors. Ciro and his crew are excellent.

"George emailed me two days beforehand to setup a time. I give him a two hour window that worked for him. He came promptly at 8:30 am, Monday morning, 11/28/16, and left at 12:30 pm. He came inside with his toolbox and started right away on assembling my two small tables. They have been sitting in a box for over one year. George also installed some 3 doorknob sets but needed to make adjustments with the door frames so two doors could close properly. He also installed much needed rack on my bedroom door to hang all my dog leashes and harnesses. The window covering hardware in the Master bedroom was changed out also. He took measurements when needed. He was accurate and did not make unnecessary or incorrectly placed holes in the plaster walls for installation. George does excellent work and is efficient. He is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely hire him for future services."
