"Response to my RFP for prompt. They explained in detail what would be done, and how; this detail sold the job, and how they would work around problems we expected from large tree roots. Installation was on time and within our budget. Work crew was friendly, attentive and addressed all issues we presented; my wife is an artist and perfectionist. At end of job they assured us they would address any future quality problems. Mostly, we love our new patio and value added to our home."

"Malecas and his crew are professional, prompt response, very easy to work with. I delayed my project one year and when contacting Malecas a year later, he treated me like it was the first time I asked him for the estimates. The crew completed the work earlier than what we expected. They cleaned up the space around the pavers, leveled our uneven backyard and neatly stacked our old bricks, when they don't need to do it. Work is superb, love our new patio - will definitely use them again for our next project!"

"I had a shed built in my yard years ago. It has held up well, except for the doors. The bottoms became rotted, and the wood panels started sliding down and off. I contacted Bill for an estimate, which was fair. Today the weather was nice enough to be able to do the job. My only hope is that the rest of the shed will hold live as long as these doors will. SO well crafted and put together. I couldn't be happier with the repair. The work was neat and organized. The final amount was a little over the estimate, but prior to the repair, we about hardware options that I liked, which required another hardware run and time. Thanks Bill!"

"It went extremely well. Ray was a professional throughout. He was very careful when dealing with the township to make sure all the paperwork and inspections were lined up properly. It took two days to complete. Ray, Bill, and Matt worked very hard and the end product seems to be perfect. I am very happy with Culligan Concrete & Masonry and hope to use them again in the near future."

"I work overnight and contacted The Mulch Barn via their website in the middle of the night.  I had used them before and had forgotten how much supply I needed from my prior order and I was requesting the same amount of product.  The owner wrote me an email first thing in the morning and had looked up my previous order and let me know the amount I had ordered before and confirmed my request.  He put in my order immediately so I would be able to get the delivery the day that I needed it.  He asked that I confirm via phone, which I did and the delivery went smoothly and they showed up exactly when they said they would.  I sleep during the day due to working nightshift...I just instructed them where to dump the mulch and they delivered it while I was sleeping. I woke up to find it delivered and placed exactly where I asked them to.  <br />"

"When I first contacted the owner, Ed Hengy, to get a quote for the job, he was actually early for his appointment and arrived looking very professional. I informed Mr. Hengy that I received two other quotes from competitors in the area. He did not pressure me at all and he never asked for their quote or their names...which was quite refreshing. We spent an hour or so going over exactly what my wife and I were looking for, and he was very informative. He seemed to be passionate about his work. He made several suggestions and my wife and I altered our plans to follow his advice. We received the quote that evening that included landscape lighting, and my wife and I were convinced that we had found our guy to do the job. Although his estimate was in the middle price-wise, we decided to hire Ed. WE ARE ECSTATIC THAT WE MADE THIS CHOICE!!!!! They started the job a day earlier than expected, and his paver crew  worked tirelessly, only stopping to take a lunch break. They cleaned up at the end of every day, they were courteous, and Ed himself was there every day, both working and supervising. The crew always looked professional, which was also a pleasant surprise. FINAL RESULT...The paver patio and walkways are absolutely top-notch...the landscape lighting brings a whole new look to our house. We have decided to hire Hengy Landscaping for ALL of our landscaping needs.  <br /> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Pitman, NJ

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
