"From the moment I contacted Ed I felt as if it would be a good outcome, and I wasn t disappointed. We walked all around the house foundation-repair project and discussed possible fixes. I asked to see pictures of previous jobs, he presented the proposal, I mulled it over, and I received responses to my questions. I made the required deposit, he provided reasonable start and finish dates and kept me updated on the schedule. He rebuilt about 90% of my 100 year-old house foundation/retaining wall, and painted it along with the porch, stairs, window frames, threshold, etc. He placed vinyl railings and covered three columns. Did I mentioned that my house looks amazing? When COVID-19 hit, he kept me abreast of supply deadlines and consulted with me regarding material and proposal changes. He and his team put in a full days work each day unless the weather didn t cooperate. They cleaned up daily and left it looking better than when they started. I plan to hire him in the future for another project or two."

"I contacted Hastings and Sons. Mason came out and I showed him what I wanted done, which was to have an existing old patio slab removed and a new one extended out, along with a front sidewalk from the driveway to the porch. He explained everything to me in detail. He was very nice, and knowledgeable. His crew came out on a Saturday and started removing the old concrete slab. Their digger broke so they had to go get parts to fix it. They returned on Monday and finished. Mason came out and inspected their work. I was very pleased with the work they did! The patio and sidewalk look great!!! I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. The first time we had a heavy rain I noticed in one area of the patio water was pooling and running towards the basement window and foundation. I sent Mason a txt with pictures. He promptly came out and looked at it. The next day the head crew guy came out and said they would wait until the rest of the concrete properly cured then they would scrape that one section and redo it. I’m very pleased with this company and the work they do. I would recommend them to family and friends. As a matter of fact I’ve already told one of my friends about them. I won’t hesitate to use them again when my driveway needs replaced. They do good work for a reasonable price!"

"Craig Desrosiers with Safe Electric did fantastic work for me right before Christmas. I liked how he arrived on the dot on time. I was so pleased with his work in fact, that I hired Craig a second time today, 12/27 for an additional several hours to install more Lutron Caseta radio dimmer switches for our home and landscape lighting control, which I love. He also installed new duplex outlets that were expertly cut and fished with no holes for me to patch and paint -what a relief and huge convenience to me. This was a very challenging job, especially since they were undoing improperly completed work previously done by a less experienced and unreliable electrician that I foolishly hired as side work (don't ever do that like I did a month ago, because you do NOT get what you think you paid for). Spend the money, hire a recommended licensed, experienced, and honest electrician. He tirelessly trouble shot and traced extensive track lighting fixtures throughout our mid century modern home. It helped to have all items purchased and ready for him to install. The few things I didn't have, he easily had ready to install from his work van. He was definitely prepared. Craig didn't cut any corners, he charged me a fair hourly rate, and most important: everything was done this time perfectly and safely. I feel strongly that when resale time should ever come around in the future years from now, I won't have any further issues or questions from a buyer's pesky home inspector, thanks to his job done right. 'Wish I'd called him first! I now have his cell number saved in my phone, and will gladly pass it on to anyone who asks me in passing if I know of a good electrician I can recommend. "The team arrived on time and was expert, professional, and personable. The water heater works as expected. They completed the work quickly and left the work site as clean as they found it. They were careful not to damage walls or door frames when removing and bringing in the water heaters. Recommended."

"Ron, the owner gave us an estimate and called with a proposed date to complete the project.  He did not ask for any deposit and said we could pay him when we were satisfied with the job.  On the first day they removed the old patio using a bobcat with a hydraulic hammer.  I told him that I didn't want the yard damaged so he said that he would bring the bobcat in the yard only one time and he kept his word.  The bobcat didn't do any damage.  They hauled the broken concrete through the garage utility door using a wheelbarrow.. The next day they formed the new patio and verified with my wife that they design was satisfactory.  Due to the extreme heat they decided to pour the concrete the following morning to assure a quality result.  The next day they poured the concrete using wheelbarrows.  After the concrete partially dried they applied a powder and used stamp pads and formed the design in the concrete.  Stamping concrete is a very messy job and the powder is very dusty.  The following day they came back to clean and seal the stamped concrete.  I was impressed with their knowledge of the business, their attention to detail (not damaging my yard) and their willingness to work in extreme heat.  . They were also careful to clean the house, driveway and the area at the end of each day and upon completion of the job.   "
