"All aspects of the job went as well as it possibly could. The carpenter patched the roof so one couldn’t even tell a chimney had ever been there. The large metal chimney was removed without incident. The gas fireplace insert needed to be cut out so as to preserve the brick encasing the fireplace and the wood mantel. Jim then expertly installed the electric fireplace, doing a beautiful job both solidly securing the new fireplace and making sure the presentation of the fireplace was perfect! It was a pleasure to see someone take meticulous care throughout the entire job, which included thoroughly cleaning up afterwards."

"I met with Gary in October to discuss adding a granite cap to my outdoor fire pit. The original fire pit stone and mortar had deteriorated. Gary was able to work with a stone quarry and have them create a round sold granite cap to go over the existing stone. The granite was delivered and placed on top of the pit today as he had to drive a truck across my lawn and we wanted to be sure the ground was frozen. He will return in the spring to finish the work by applying mortar under the granite and he will also do some stone wall repair at that time. While this project has been long and slow, Gary always quickly responded to my text and phone messages. The cost was more than I would like, but material costs are very high everywhere right now. I will definitely work with Gary again."

They corrected a problem with our chimney liner that apparently wasnâ t fastened correctly and did some repairs to the brick and sealed everything. No more leaks! Would highly recommend."

Everything was cleaned out, repaired properly, and finished with a new crown and cap so it?s finally protected from water and weather. "The two workers showed up a bit late (but we were notified they would be). Very nice guys. Said they could do the tuckpointing on our chimney right then. I thought their price was high for what was basically 2 hours work for two people. But I'd had a hard time finding anyone to do tuck pointing, so went ahead and had them do the work. Seems like they did a good job. It's hard to know without climbing up on our very steep roof. We will know in the coming year or two if their efforts solved our water and leaking problems on our chimney."
