"All aspects of the job went as well as it possibly could. The carpenter patched the roof so one couldn’t even tell a chimney had ever been there. The large metal chimney was removed without incident. The gas fireplace insert needed to be cut out so as to preserve the brick encasing the fireplace and the wood mantel. Jim then expertly installed the electric fireplace, doing a beautiful job both solidly securing the new fireplace and making sure the presentation of the fireplace was perfect! It was a pleasure to see someone take meticulous care throughout the entire job, which included thoroughly cleaning up afterwards."

"I met with Gary in October to discuss adding a granite cap to my outdoor fire pit. The original fire pit stone and mortar had deteriorated. Gary was able to work with a stone quarry and have them create a round sold granite cap to go over the existing stone. The granite was delivered and placed on top of the pit today as he had to drive a truck across my lawn and we wanted to be sure the ground was frozen. He will return in the spring to finish the work by applying mortar under the granite and he will also do some stone wall repair at that time. While this project has been long and slow, Gary always quickly responded to my text and phone messages. The cost was more than I would like, but material costs are very high everywhere right now. I will definitely work with Gary again."

"Hired Shamrock Construction to inspect our chimney. Peter indicated what needed to be done, options, and pricing. He re-pointed mortar, fixed top course of brick, sealed outside of chimney, replaced flashing. He discovered termites along one section of foundation and excavated around remaining perimeter of house to check for other termites/bugs; treated as required.  Peter has been in the construction business for 23 years and is technically knowledgeable.  He has a keen eye for areas that may have problems; investigated areas of concern, and showed what needed to be done.
