The plumber who originally fixed the leak cut out the ceiling to fix the leak, but was not able to reinstall it. We hired Josh to replace the ceiling. He did an excellent job. He was punctual and polite, and kept me looped in on the entire project. He got my sign-off on all of his decisions and ran pricing by me when he needed to buy supplies. He knew exactly what he was doing. Josh finished the job quickly in two days and did excellent work while paying attention to detail. I would certainly hire him again!"

"First of all, this review was not requested by the company.  Although the installation of our windows and doors was done in fall of 2012 we waited to post the review to see how the windows were during winter / rain season.
We got quotes from 5 different companies in the SF Bay Area and we decided to go with Five Star Windows for new construction installation of 9 windows and 3 doors in an existing stucco house. Five Star Windows offer was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. As the company sells several brands of windows Jeffrey Pickard, the owner, did not push a particular brand. Jeffrey was most thorough in his explanation of the different types of windows available and which would fit our requirements. 
We decided to buy Milgard Tuscany windows (lifetime warranty).
After all our research, I believe the best window is one that not only meets your budget and energy needs but a professional and proper installation. Five Star Windows Company comes with window installers certified by AAMA (American Architectural Manufactures Association) meaning its installation specialists are trained on windows installation techniques based on industry standards for both new construction and replacement projects.
The installation team, Ismail and Isidro, led by Jose Luis Pulido arrived to install the windows and was also very professional. They set up all of their equipment each morning, cleaned up and vacuum each afternoon. They laid down cloths for walking through to work from inside. Jose clearly explained every step in the process of installation. Ismail did a great job of matching the old stucco.
Jeffrey estimated that ours windows and doors would be installed (including re-stucco and wood trim replacement) in one week, it took them 4 days to install all windows and doors.
We are very happy with our windows and doors and we will continue to refer Five Star Windows Company to anyone that we know that needs new windows and doors.

He mounted it really well, and it appears to be very sturdy. He even hung on the mount to show it wasn’t going anywhere. "Thus far we have been extremely satisfied with the work Todd and his crew have done!  This is our first house purchase and there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done.  We interviewed 4 general contractors before picking Todd at T James Construction.  We found T James Construction through Angie's List and now know first hand why all the reviews we read are abundantly positive.  Todd listened to what we wanted and provided thoughtful advice.  He knew that we wanted top quality work, but were on a budget, so we are grateful he was able to work within our budget without compromising his quality of work.  He's been conscious in helping us save money by noting that we didn't need to replace some of the wood in the kitchen that we thought needed to be replaced and advised against buying a new window when the current window could be easily fixed.  We also had random knicks and holes in some walls and he repaired them all as a courtesy.  He's been very good about keeping in touch throughout the process and even taking our calls on the weekend.  Since we were living in the house while all this work was going on, he and his crew were very good about cleaning up at the end of the day.  Todd has also been very flexible with working around our schedule; we delayed in ordering the kitchen cabinets and bathroom fixtures so Todd could not continue with our original schedule.  Additionally, he provided us with advice for some minor work that we wanted to do ourselves.  I'll update this review once everything is completed, but I can't imagine that anything would change from what I've already stated.   A great guy to work with and great work as well!"
