"Hired this person because of his Angie rating and reviews. Was very specific about NOT SUBCONTRACTING THE JOB. I was told specifically he would do the job himself . Jason was dishonest and subcontracted the job to two illegals non English speaking individual's from Colombia. They did sub rate job didn't caulk the cracks or corners and had to be called back to repair many paint issues and apply the hardware back on. They sprayed the cabinet's in my garage and got paint on the floor everywhere!! My brand new kitchen floor of 3 weeks old has a lot paint sprayed on it they did not protect the floor as they should of. My new stove has paint of the top dripped and dried on it....The entire job list also included some tile work and applying thresholds which was part of the original contract still isn't finished and Jason has had 11 scheduled appts to complete the job 5 of these were NO call no shows. All documented on my texts and emails. I cant recommend this person . Don hire him. "

"I thought about an addition for several years; then interviewed and received bids from about 6 companies. I wanted a workroom with: * built-in storage cabinets and desk * space for the washer, dryer, freezer, and sauna. * ample space for my projects JB Construction’s bid was reasonable and fair. Joe is professional, honest, responsive, and easy to work with. He finds and hires quality subcontractors, and I am impressed with the work that was completed on my addition. He is hands-on, was involved in the process, and checked in often as the work progressed. He actually did quite a bit of the work himself. I really appreciated how Joe suggested improvements that I never would have thought of. These included enlarging the space from 280 to 320 sq ft, adding a sun tunnel when the skylight wouldn’t work with the roof line, a built-in cabinet where a window was removed, an exterior electrical outlet, and an overhead light in the corner cupboard. Joe was able to salvage and reuse the old brick on the front of the addition. This, along with the two original windows integrated the addition seamlessly with the rest of the house. It was done so perfectly; neighbors have asked where the addition was built. I’m extremely picky and am thrilled with my new addition. It’s lovely, functional, and my preferred room in my house. Joe has a lot of repeat customer jobs and I can see why. This was a great experience and I’m glad I went with him. I plan to use JB Construction for future projects and recommend him to everyone I know."

"I can't say enough good things about Justin and Affinity Construction! Our project went from a wood frame RV carport 20x45 to an enclosed garage. Justin came out several times as we worked through the build plan. Affinity was covering all the bases from foundation to paint color. Justin is great to work with and goes the extra mile to ensure the customer gets what they want. Unfortunately, the city had easement issues on the build site and wouldn't allow a structure to be built. We had no other suitable location for the garage, so the project was scrapped. This is when I decided Affinity Construction would always have my business. Justin returned my deposit, and went further introducing me to other professionals he trusts to bid on the smaller side projects we were going to do while the garage was being built. The true measure of a quality company is how they react when things turn sideways and how they treat their customers when money is no longer changing hands. 10 stars!!"

"S&K Reece was thoroughly transparent, knowledgeable, and professional with us at a reasonable price. Kimberly, their admin and Sonny’s wife, was very communicative throughout the process. We needed an external door replaced on our composite deck, but the catch was that the composite flooring was slightly raised right under the door frame, catching the vinyl door at the bottom and causing it to fall apart over time. Sonny answered all our questions from the initial consultation to executing the project with his team. We knew the deck was built cheaply, but didn’t know the door frame was slightly crooked. Sonny handled this unexpected challenge very well and resolved this problem efficiently. Him and his team were professional and great to work with whenever they were here for the project. We foresee future home projects and giving them a call again! Thank you Sonny, Kimberly, and team! Pictures show broken deck door before, then new one installed."

"3 hour sales presentation and a $90,000 renovation quote for three bathrooms and no major wall moves or anything. $5,000 just to replace a 36” vanity in my half bath. Waste of my time. I’m disappointed in Angi for even recommending these people. There is no way they should be getting the positive reviews for the price and the presentation alone!"

"I wanted to choose zero stars for a rating about BORDNER ROOFING OF RAYTOWN, MO. Our roof was leaking so bad we had a kidde pool in the livibg room catching rain water. I gave them a huge deposit. When it started getting too cold to roof I went to their office after they kept my huge deposit for 3 months. I told them to give me my money back & they refused. I said it will be too cold to roof it properly. They promised the shingles would lay/seal down when the sun comes out & warms them up. 3 months later in the spring the shingles didn't seal down !!! They also nailed the shingles too high !!! I met with them again a few months ago in their office & they kept saying, "We stand behind our work" THEY ARE SUCH LIARS !!! They came out a few times & put silicone or tar under some shingles that buckled up or folded back. That didn't help. 5 sections of the roof are having the same problem. This isn't acceptable !!! I had 5 companies inspect the roof & they all said it was very bad workmanship, it was too cold & the shingles were nailed too high !!! I contacted the BBB & Bordner lied to them & BBB closed the case. I have photos, documents & video to prove my case !!! They damaged my home, my gutters, my lawn, some plants, they took 21 days to do the roof...other roofers said it shouldn't have taken more than a week. ☆☆☆☆DON'T HIRE BORDNER☆☆☆☆"
