"From start to finish, APX Home Improvement was exceptional. I have contracted to renovate several properties and APX is number one. Alex was very detailed as we reviewed what the project entailed. He made constructive recommendations that transformed the condominium from a 1970s property to a 2020 property. The finished product was amazing. The cost was competitive and the work was completed in a timely manner. I could not have been more satisfied. I highly recommend APX Home Improvements. ."

"Jose of JMR CONTRACTOR LLC did an excellent job of replacing my old backyard steps with a new composite deck with steps nd putting solar lights on the post. He also did some patch work with mortar on the outside wall of my home. He does quality work and he has a very nice personality. He is very patient and makes sure that the customer is pleased with his work. The price he charged was good. I will continue to hire him for future jobs."

"Two Projects - recessed lights with ceiling painting and door installed in the hallway. Edward was excellent to set up and communicate with; he returned to complete the job to perfection. I added a 3rd task to fix a broken doorbell, which he did on the spot at a reasonable price. I will use him for future work and highly recommend him."

"I wish every contractor I hired were 1/2 as good, if not more. They are truly professionals in workmanship and customer services. I went through several vendors before I found KS, I'm happy the other vendors didn't workout because I wouldn't have found Kitchen Savers."

"Im so glad I found Eric. Eric is extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive and easy to work with. We got our plans done with Eric within a short period of time. He also has a good crew of engineers to help complete the project faster. I normally dont do review unless the service is above and beyond or so poor. I highly recommend Eric. Thanks Home advisor."

"Jessica is very well organized and a great communicator, from initial project consultation all the way through completion of two full bathroom remodels. Cris was great to work with, he was on-site 90% of the time, and when he wasn't the others in his crew were professional and easy to work with. The budget was reasonable and I'm extremely pleased with the work product. Jessica and Cris will be my first call for my upcoming kitchen remodel."

"I've used Bitarchitects for a major renovation project and they've been an absolute pleasure to work with. Terry, Nour, and the team are very responsive, honest, professional, and most of all innovative in their approach! They've exceeded my expectations and made this process very easy for me. If you're looking for professionals that are up-to-date with trends, innovative and efficient in how they operate, and very communicative, then I highly recommend Bitarchitects! I will definitely be working with them again in the future."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
