"I rank Landson Construction #1 in the list of contractors we have hired in our 40 years of home ownership. Ari and his team of subcontractors recently completed a challenging remodel of one of our bathrooms--challenging because it is a very small area with limited space. Their finished job looks better than our separate remodel of a larger bathroom completed by one of the big firms that advertises daily on television. Examples: the tile work in our small shower is exceptional, and the vanity/oversized sink is a perfect match that does not dominate the small room. Ari Erickson (no relation to me) offered selections from his preferred vendors, but we had full latitude to shop on our own for all tile and fixtures. He and his subcontractors kept us fully apprised at all stages of the project, arrived promptly throughout the course of the work, responded promptly to our texts and emails, and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. My highest recommendation: I always seek at least four bids for a major project, but I would forego that process and hire Landson Construction again for future building/remodeling projects, and would encourage friends and family to do the same."

"Mike and his crew spent approximately 5 months working on multiple areas in and around our home. We added a third stall garage and mudroom/laundry room to the first floor, we added a basement bathroom, remodeled a 4 season porch to use year around as an additional main floor living space, bumped out a small second floor bedroom to add an additional bathroom and larger bedroom to make a master bedroom and en suite bathroom and finally a new 6 foot cedar fence to keep the dogs in our yard. Mike was quick and responsive to our initial meetings, questions, ideas and budget. He was able to creatively rethink the layouts of several of our rooms to keep our budget in check and still give us everything we were wanting. As the owner and general contractor, Mike kept all of his crew moving, supplies delivered and his several sub contractors on time. Mike and his crew are full service...they can frame up, handle tree work, install doors & windows, install siding, install cedar fencing, lay tile, sheetrock, paint, complete finishing work, etc. Mike was able to get our foundation work completed in October so his crew could work all winter long rather than waiting 9 months to start due to our freezing winter temps. We had a standing weekly appointment, at our home, to go over the progress, answer our questions and talk about next steps. Keeping the lines of communication open was huge considering we had no idea how much knowledge and work was necessary for the size of job they were working on. Mike's crew dealt with our 2 dogs during the day and 5 people attempting to live in the construction areas while they worked! We were very pleased with Mike and his crew. We will immediately turn to Higgins Construction when we have any additional renovation/construction needs."

"This was the second project that I have hired TCH to do. It's so nice to be able to hire one contractor and have the same people do all of the work (plumbing, carpentry, tile work, etc.,) instead of having to hire a different company for each part of the project, or have a company sub out the work. TCH has the best personnel, always punctual and very cooperative. Regularly checking with me to be sure the job gets done the way I expected. They were very careful to protect all areas from dust and debris and made an exceptional effort to clean up at the end of each day and when the job was completed. "Jay worked with me with the overall design and look of the bathroom. They completely gutted my 50-year-old yellow tile and tub surround, installed new insulation, backer board, drywall, plumbing as needed and white subway tile with grey grout in the tub/shower, vanity and corner niche areas. Included pencil tile trim and other clever solutions for a high-class finished look. Installed new toilet, tub/shower fixtures, grab bar, ceramic shower shelves, vanity faucets, three light fixtures, and toilet paper holder and towel rings. Added baseboards and quarter round moulding throughout. They worked quickly and carefully. Extremely neat, using dropcloths along all access areas. Showed up on time every morning and kept me informed throughout the process and brought me in whenever design and material decisions needed to be made. It is such a joy to use my new bath! I would hire Phoenix Remodel again in a heartbeat."

"I would recommend Iron & Oak to anyone. We decided to replace an old and falling apart solarium on the back of our house and wanted a three season screen porch on the same footprint. We had a number of contractors out to bid on the project.. some that provided low-cost, cookie cutter aluminum porches, some that were custom builders. In the end for us, due to the communication, dedication to quality, and reasonable value, we went with Iron & Oak. The entire process: the initial consultation with Peter, the planning of the project with Jake, and the team that they brought out to build the porch were all A+. "The money charged was meeting my budget would liked it lower. But the other bids I received was that or higher. They did the job on time and keep site clean. So I have no complaints I working on many projects to get locked down so I can get assistance from these guys. Interactions were friendly and down to earth. Most contractors are rude and very hard to work with so I have to say I give these guys props."
