Jake H. came by for the estimate, and even though it was late and dark (so we skipped walking the roof), he was straight with me from the start. No BS, no pressure tactics - just honest talk about what needed to be done and a fair quote. During the job, they did find some bad roof sheeting under the shingles. Anyone with basic common sense knows you can't see that stuff until you get down to the wood - it's just part of the deal. Yeah, I had to pay extra for the wood replacement, but it needed to be done right. The end result? My house looks AMAZING! These guys knocked it out of the park. The new roof completely transformed my home's appearance, and their work quality was top-notch. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. But here's where they really showed their true colors - I had an issue with some shingles having granule problems. I tried dealing with Owens Corning myself but got nowhere and they denied my claim.
