"They did a difficult job well. They replaced our old patio with new pavers, expanding it to come to both sets of steps on our deck. They installed new French drains and dried creek bed, going around or under previous drains. They extended the drains from the roof to join the drain to the road. They poisoned and removed invasive plants. Due to the lateness of the year, it is a little too early to see how well the new French drain will work longer term or removal of invasive plants, but it's good so far and it looks good! The price was good and they worked hard and quickly."

"This team is FABULOUS -- I have had interior design consultations before and they just missed the mark. They just walk around your house with you and give you ideas -- showing you pictures along the way. It's a super-responsive way of providing instant feedback and course corrections. We basically walked around my whole house and they gave me suggestions for my kitchen, master bedroom, lighting in general, and the basement. They are super good and working with what you ALREADY HAVE and have very warm and welcoming personalities. "I purchased a big deal for this service and they were very good. They constantly work and don't break down. They do a good product and a good installation. Anytime I need a new bulb or a replacement  I just call and they are right there. They are the only people we use. The owner takes a lot of pride in his work and the installation; he wants to make sure that the customer is happy. I have never had any trouble with him. He kind of makes you feel like family. The lighting has been working well since he installed it. Nothing they have done from the communication to the installation to the quickness of response is an A-plus. "Ross is exceptional. We wanted to add a ceiling spot light to a cathedral ceiling connecting it to an existing circuit used for an overhead fan. Sound simple but it wasn't as the fan was poorly installed by a previous owner of the house and ceiling joists made placement of the spot and running wires tricky. Long story made short, Ross got it done, overcoming several unanticipated problems along the way. First class. And, to boot, he's a nice guy - responsive, good-humored, and more than willing to go the extra yard. Reasonably priced. Definitely will call him again!"

"unfortunately i didn't realize that i had inadvertently fixed garage outlet by resetting from circuit panel (while troubleshooting with other electricians), but oc1 gave useful advice about protecting outlets. then installed two new exterior lights, which i had purchased to be changed out only bc i had prepaid for two hours, unused second hour credited toward future work. will gladly hire again and spread word, thanks for very pleasant experience!"

"Had an electric baseboard heater (about 11 years old) catch fire in its control housing (Kolb did not install this heater). Luckily damage was minimal, but I called Kolb to disconnect the heater's wiring and remove the heater from the wall. Electrician was out there that same day and we're very happy & relieved now that the heater has gone! I've used Kolb in the past (found them on Angie's List) to remove an old ceiling fan/install its replacement, and replace an exterior flood light fixture. They've always done a great job."
