"It went very well! They built a stone fire pit set in a decomposed granite sitting area, stone edging and flagstone walkways in the back yard. We liked it so much we expanded the project to a small flagstone sitting area in front shrub bed and stone edging around all of the other shrub beds. The pricing was fair, the work was top notch and on time. We would recommend them."

"I used Pedro for a pool deck remodel and the work was fantastic. He is very polite and makes the job a breeze. We installed a 4' section of concrete all the way around the pool, with the exterior being river rock. We had some weather delays, but he always communicated clearly with us. If changes came up, he handled them with class. In the initial phases, he said he'd do whatever we needed him to, but also made good recommendations as well. I highly recommend them."

"I was pleased with the results.  In addition to bidding on the known issues, the estimator walked around my property and found several other issues including multiple long cracks in the mortar of my exterior walls.  I appreciated this extra effort although the additional work lead to doubling the cost of the work.  The crew went right to work when they arrived.  They worked hard and did a good job, leaving the work areas clean.  They were polite and respectful.  The reworked and repaired areas look great.  The only snafu was a mixup on the scheduling of the actual work.  The crew showed up unexpectedly but it all worked out.  I used a Big Deal discount for part of the work.  I would use Mason man again.

"This spring brought lots of rain to my area and a retaining wall on my property failed.  I obtained bids for the replacement of the wall from a couple of contractors I found on Angie's list, but fell for a deal from a contractor that was not on Angie's list.  Yep, you guessed it!  The non Angie's list "contractor" took all of my money and left my property a total disaster.  I had to scramble to find help in cleaning up the mess the previous guy left and found a $99 Angie's List deal for Essie's Hauling and Bobcat Work.  I contacted Essie's and Jeremiah came to my house to look at the job.  He had a full schedule that week but explained that he could demo the rest of the retaining wall and haul it all off.  It was alot of work and I expected it to cost more than the Angie's List deal.  Jeremiah gave me a fair price and fulfilled his promise to demo and haul away the rest of the wall that week.  Not only that, but he cleared the trash the other guy left and left my property prepped for the fence contractor to come in and start their work right away. 
I cannot say enough about Jeremiah!  He's a professional, attentive, and was able to help me with this emergency job.  I highly recommend Essie's!
