"We reached out to Dan with the issue of freezing pipes and cold rooms in our old house. Dan inspected the house and proposed a plan to remedy these issues. Aside from the more traditional air sealing and insulation solutions, Dan also recommended insulating the area of our house above our soffit, which was difficult to access but that appeared to be a major insulation issue. I should add the other firms we requested quotes for did not identify this area in their proposal. I firmly believe the proposals from the other firms would not have fixed our issues. Dan worked for ~2 weeks on air sealing our attic and house, adding insulation to our attic, removing our soffit and adding insulation and reinstalling soffit. Work was done well and within budget and at a fair price. Dan is very easy to work with and takes pride in his work. We are very happy to report our pipes have not frozen and the cold rooms are no longer cold - would highly recommend Dan to others - he went above and beyond."

The roof was done in one which was awesome, but I am still waiting on gutters a week later and won't be given a day/time for them. Just keep being told "early next week" or "tomorrow". The crew arrived on time, was professional and very thorough with what they were going to do before starting, communicating during of their progress and then a 'show and tell' after the work was completed. Cleanup afterwards let my house cleaner than before they showed up and only took them around 1 1/2 - 2hrs from start to finish (for a 1425 sq ft attic). "Amazing job by Anthony, Dave, and crew. I have used them twice now to install sound-proofing insulation between the floors of my home. They do great work. And they also communicate really well. Anthony gave me a quote, Dave walked me through the job (before, during, and after), they have a crew of 4+ guys, everything is fast and efficient. In terms of whether the sound proofing insulation works: you can no longer hear conversations between the floors. To the extent you can hear something now, it's muffled. Before, you could clearly make out what people were saying. All-in-all, I've hired Building Energy Experts twice now, and I highly recommend them."
