"I did hours of research, interviewed eight contractors on round one , and drove them nuts with questions. When complete, I pretty much knew that Roman roofing would be my choice but to make myself happy I went through two round two with a lesser number of contractors and, as I suspected Roman was my choice. Since I Cannot say anything negative about the whole reroof process with Roman Roofing I will list the positives. I received a Detailed Estimate including all materials by brand name ( I wanted all materials from a single manufacturer) Price was mid range between 8 contractors interviewed which is where I like to be. My actual Start date was much earlier than estimated. Tear off of old shingles, two layers of underlayment, replacement of bad plywood, all plywood renailed to current code, New underlayment and drip edge installed ….all in one day. New shingles complete in one day Excellent cleanup after the job was complete. In addition , I felt comfortable throughout the whole process (except for the spending the money part) through the efforts of Roman Representative Ralph Chianese. He answered all my questions in detail and offered me insights into the insurance process that no other contractor even mentioned. Can’t say enough about Ralph but if all their reps are on a par with him you will be in good hands. That all said my Rating is 5 stars."

"The job was done professionally and on schedule. Excellent work and excellent warrantee. Only problem was their job estimate significantly underestimated the final cost. The problem was that the estimator only saw one roof layer when there were two. One would assume that a trained estimator would know this. They charged extra for removing the second layer, which i found out about after the job was in process. Also, beware of gutter guards, which may need to be removed. If your guards are expensive, make sure reinstallation is included in the job estimate."

"Good sales pitch, excellent product compared to multiple other products on the market. I reviewed and spoke with four other contractors before I chose this company. Price was somewhere in the middle with one or two unforeseen increases during the project. Install was gauge to be a one-day project which turned into a 2 day. Some of that was due to weather other was due to increased need related to damage to the wood on my roof. Crew was excellent about cleaning up afterwards and accommodating to letting me in and out of the house during the project to go to work, and walk my dogs."
