"I had quotes from three roofing companies, two of them offering only extensive replacement work that didn’t fit our needs. Why replace a couple whole sections of a 30-year old concrete tile roof now when there’s only a small patch of missing tiles on each? The rest of the roof is still going to be 30 years old anyway. The other company took nearly a month to get someone over here for a look, said they’d do the repair that I asked for, then took 12 more days to email a quote. I accepted that, asked about their schedule, and was told they’d get back to me. That’s where it ended. No more response. Then, I found Vision. Their business address is close. I stopped by to submit my request, and left. Ben Elbaz was already calling me back when I got just a few blocks down the street. He came to the house the same day. We also looked at our other house a few hundred feet away, where I had almost finished some work myself. Ben found a few more issues there that I wasn’t going to mention. I got a quote for the necessary damage repair, finish-up of my own uncompleted work, plus his roof “tuneup” on each house that would take care of whatever else needed attention. A bit more than I was seeking, more expense, but sensible as long as the tuneup was something worthwhile. Next morning, I texted Ben “let’s get started”. He brought a crew of two, who got it all done in one long day. I thought my uncompleted work had gone pretty well, but they evidently thought otherwise. They started over. Got rid of an unused chimney pipe flashing that I mistakenly thought I wanted 30 years ago, and closed up the useless hole with new ply sheathing and tile. Two upstairs bay windows have half-pyramid shaped tile roofing over them that didn’t turn out so well when the house was built, they’ve been ugly from the start. Unbelievably, these roofers fixed them up and they look pretty good now! I didn’t even ask them to do that. The tuneups were worth it, absolutely. And this good stuff all happened just Four days after I first contacted Vision Roofing. We’ll likely get a few more years out of our roofs, then call Vision Roofing again. Thanks, Ben!"
