"The last few years my knees have started to go bad and I've been unable to take care of my landscaping like I used to.  I've been getting by with occasional "help" from my husband and by hiring my grandkids for some things, but it was getting totally out of hand.  So when I saw Angie's List had a Deal in September for 4 hours of landscape work for $149 with In The Sun Lawn Maintenance I jumped on it, even though I really wanted to wait until spring.  The deal said it was good for 6 months and after I bought it I got a call from Brian and he said it was no problem to wait that long to use it, and it could go even longer if I wanted.
In March I contacted Brian and he set up an appointment to come and do the work.  He and his crew showed up a few minutes earlier than the appointment time, we walked around the yard and talked about what to do.  He had 2 guys with him so the 4 man-hours of work was 1 hour 20 minutes of clock time, which was fine.  I had way more stuff that needed to be done than could possibly happen in that amount of time so we agreed they would work another clock hour (3 man hours) for an additional (and reasonable) fee.  Still couldn't get everything done but it looks WAY better and I'm happy with what did get done.
Their work was excellent, and I'm a picky landscaper.  They pruned large bushes, pulled weeds, and cleared out some overgrown weedy seedlings that were trying to get established.  They cleaned up the mess and piled the cuttings by the road where I told them to.  They were friendly and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.  In fact, when I go to list my house for sale in a few months I'll probably call them to come back and clean the yard up some more!
My only complaint about the whole deal is with Angie's List.  I seemed to get an email from them every two weeks or so reminding me to leave feedback.  I understand they want feedback, but I wish they had a way for me to indicate I haven't used the service yet but plan to do so in the future.  Minor detail, but the nagging got pretty annoying.
