"George and his crew did an outstanding job! They were prompt, courteous, professional and really seemed to enjoy their work. George came to meet with us to estimate the work and provided us a quote within 1 business day. From estimate to completion, the team completed the job in 5 business days.
After day 1 we didn't like one of the colors we had chosen after seeing it on the walls. We talked with George about it and he was very accommodating, and just wanted to make sure we would be happy with the final results. This was a big change, but George only charged us for the cost of replacing the paint.
Overall, we were extremely happy with the quality of the work and would highly recommend George's painting to others!

"The overall experience was exceptional. Luis meet with my wife and I and did a walk thru of the property and provided us with an estimate within an hour of the walk-thru. I already had heard excellent things about his company from numerous co-workers who had FDC paint their home. I truly feel like we got an extreme value in terms of the service we received for the price. Since our house was a new build, we had a number of cracks and nail pops associated with the home settling. Also, entire house to include walls ceiling and trim was a blah beige. Needless to say, FDC had their work cut out for them. Luis and his team skimmed and sanded all these areas and repaired the drywall making the necessary repairs as part of their prep work. Once painting had begun, he provided a daily up date on the project and sent pictures. We meet on numerous occasions to go over things and I was blown away by he and his crews attention to detail. He not only meet the deadline but was able to get the whole house done a day early. He and his team treated our home like it was their own. Not a single corner was cut and he went above and beyond to make the house perfect. I recommend Luis and FDC Proffesional Painting to anyone who is looking to transform their home and eliminate all stress. Don't waste your time calling multiple painters to get estimates so you can haggle pricing. Just call Luis and he will work with you to meet your needs at your budget. Additionally, all work is backed by a 3 year warranty so if there are any issues or our scratch a wall moving in he and his team will come back and make touch ups or repairs free of charge. My wife and I plan to have FDC come back in the winter to paint our finished basement."

"Heather with Exteriors by Elite has extensive knowledge of roofing/gutter/siding installations and repair. Weâ ve hired Exteriors by Elite twice and been extremely impressed both times. Heather quickly diagnosed the issue, thoroughly explained the repairs required, and provided a very reasonable quote. The crew is efficient and performs excellent workmanship. No sticker shock and quality customer service. Highly recommend!"

"They repaired the roof and replaced the missing siding. Even though the siding was 20 years old, they were able to find a perfect match for it to look like it had always been there. After finishing the job, they cleaned up all the roofing materials that were taken off and took them away. My coworker needed work done and after this experience I have recommended Shingle Roofing to them.."

"I was very happy with A&J Home Remodeling! The crew worked very quickly, knew exactly what to do, and got right to work! I had purchased the $99 two-hour special and requested they stay to complete another small project. The additional price was $80, which was acceptable and in alignment for their time and expertise. I will hire them again on the next project."

"The carpentry and painting went well but caulking did not seal around portions of the bay window. More caulk was added on a return trip but still did not cover the gaps. When a supervisor called later for the final payment (cost now over $700), I said I would pay after the caulking was completed. He said I would get a return call to schedule and I said fine, the caulk gun will be left on the back porch. No one ever called again or returned again. The quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism of the sub-contract crew was good; it was the quality of the caulking and responsiveness of general contractor management that did not measure up.
We have since had the house caulked and repainted by a painting company.

"I originally hired Alejandro to do paintwork. The final work was completed really well and at an acceptable rate. Through interaction, I learned they did other type of work as well, so I later rehired to remodel a pantry and some handyman work around the house. In the midst of doing so, a major storm had come through and my basement flooded. They instinctively assisted with the cleanup of the basement, which I have now hired them to do the remediation of the water damage. The paint work, the handyman work, the pantry, and now the initial phase of the remediation have gone exceptionally well and all at a good rate. Even better, the interaction with this group has been nothing but grade A. Polite, professional, and go above and beyond to earn the customer's trust and respect. I strongly recommend them ANY time."

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in Port Tobacco, MD

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
