"<p>On Sunday the bedroom light started flickering and made crackling sounds.</p> <p>Looked on Angie's List at various electrical companies within 5 miles of my location and of those with multiple reviews, Electech appeared to be an all purpose company, that is, one that will do small jobs as well as big ones.<br /> <br /></p> <p>Called on Monday morning and left a message which was returned the same morning. I was not at home but James let me know that a person could come out that same day! Upon my return I left another message saying that sending a person would be fine.</p> <p>Paul, the service tech, came in the early afternoon and determined the fixture had to be replaced. He was willing to go to the local hardware store and purchase a replacement product and install it.<br /> <br /></p> <p>He was very professional and did not waste time but he also had a good sense of humor. </p> <p>I think he said everything took an hour and a half and for the work and the purchase of the fixture the price was $245. I don't have a receipt (it will be sent in the mail) as the work was done today so I can't be exactly sure if I got the time right. And I am unfamiliar with the general price structure for electrical work.</p> <p>But for any further electrical problems I plan on calling Electech first.</p> <br />"

"This experience could not have been better.   I called several sprinkler guys based mostly on recommendations from friends.   Given the busy season, I either didn't get a call back or they were weeks out before they could stop by.  So I turned to Angie's List which has given me so many great leads in the past.     <br /> I was avoiding the big landscape companies because communication in English is notoriously a problem.   I definitely liked what I read about Lenny's Sprinkler & Lighting.    Lenny was also busy, but he did find a way to work me into the schedule (on a Saturday!)  where another job was finishing up early.   I really appreciated his effort.    More importantly, he is AWESOME and does a thorough job.   He had the valves firing again in no time and then walked through each zone with me making recommendations and marking the heads that had issues.   He also patiently took the time to explain things about the system anytime as it was necessary.    Lenny is an easy going guy and I felt super comfortable working with him.   He  takes the time to make sure things are right before he heads off and I would not hesitate to use him again.   I consider him my "go to" guy for the future. <br />"

"Although All Pro Electric showed up as scheduled and completed the repair work to my outdoor lighting satisfactorily, they overcharged for labor. Their employee took much longer than necessary due to admittedly being amped on coffee, unfocused on the job and excessively chatty. When I let the owner know about the overcharge, he refused to make any deduction from the bill, so unfortunately I cannot recommend them."

"Since we have an 18' ceiling and some of the work was retrofitting a can light, Shawn, the owner, actually came out to do the work himself. He was extremely careful not to disturb sheetrock on the ceiling which would have necessitated having repairs. He did an amazing job. He and his assistant John were very conscious of covering carpeting and wood floors and did a fabulous job. Based on our experience, we would recommend ABC Electric to anyone!"
