"Well, I asked him to come over and simply put the door in and hang it. No trim. Had a brand new door handle, and lock set for him to put on. He claimed he didn't know how to put the handle on. The door was hung with no shims. He never put any screws into the framing. Simply slam the door and put some nails in it and left. Wish I wouldn't have given him an extra 25 on the check I wrote. I feel I got a little less than I paid for with Jim."

I would recommend setting â  service completed by dateâ  as part of contract. Jobs finally completed in December, 2023. Most work was sloppily done with little attention to detail and would need to be corrected. Last job with final payment will need to be totally re-done. Called contractor to report poor & incorrect workmanship that he needed to correct. Contractor said he would call back to schedule but now is ignoring my calls. So, contractor â  took the money and ranâ  . Totally unprofessional. I have pictures of his workmanship which confirm his total ineptitude in completing a job that he said he could do.
