He was careful to lay down protective coverings over existing floor and carpet. Arrived to work when he said he would, was flexible, and quick to make small changes and/or redo something that wasn't quite right. Charged about the national average for a room remodel. I will be hiring him again for more projects in the future."

"Over the last several winters, I'd spent way too much money on emergency service calls for my furnace. None of the previous companies recommended replacing the furnace, but were apparently happy to complete a series of relatively small but expensive repairs. Fed up, I received numerous estimates to replace my furnace. Several made mistakes in their estimates because they were not thorough in exploring some problems with a newer central AC installation that had occurred previously. One company refused to provide an estimate. Eric provided the estimate for Aire Serv. He listened to the problems and was meticulous in his efforts to understand what needed to be done to fix everything. In doing so, he uncovered the mistakes that previous estimates had made and fully explained why he believed his theory of the problem was accurate. In the end, he was correct. The result was an estimate that was signficantly less expensive than the others'. The installers came the next week, installed the furnace, fabricated a plenum so that the AC and furnace installation finally met code and specs. The house is finally warm this winter. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
