The roof was past its design life when we bought the place, and although there were no signs of leaks, we decided to put a new roof on the house in 2016 - better to get it done before problems arise than after. Central was great. I forgot to move my car out of the driveway the morning they were scheduled to start work but they managed to make things work anyway. My handyman happened to stop by while they were working and told me it looked like they knew what they were doing, which was comforting. The real proof, though, is my roof has been on the house for 4 years, including the wettest year on record here in the DC area, with no signs of leaks anywhere in the house. This may not seem impressive - roofs aren't supposed to leak. However, both my sister and parents have had new roofs put on their houses in the intervening years - they live several States away so could not use Central Exteriors. Both had leak issues after having the new roofs put on and had to have the roofer come back out to fix things - in my sister's case it took several return visits and some major work to make things right. Central Exteriors were price competitive with other roofing companies I consulted with, and gave me a 50 year warranty on the shingles and workmanship, which nobody else offered. "We were very pleased with Amazing Skylights.  Rich came out and after checking our exiting skylights gave us an estimate on the two skylights and a SolaTube; there was no pressure salesmanship.  We arranged to have the work done and his staff was able to install the two skylights in one morning.



We also purchased a SolaTube as our family room was quite dark during the daytime.  Rich and his staff  installed the SolaTube in an afternoon (same day as the skylights).  Installing the SolaTube required cutting into our roof and bringing the tube from the roof through a small area in a linen closet on the second floor and ending up in the family room.  Sunlight is now reflected through the tube and brings bright sunlight into our family room during the day.  We are very pleased with the workmanship and the clean up with Amazing Skylights, Inc.
