It was a major project that included redesigning the entire front walkway, landscaping with new plants, rebuilding a new porch, retaining wall, installing fountain, installing lights that gave a new look to the front exterior of the house. We also got the entire backyard done with a 1250 sqft patio, inbuilt gas grill with sink, fire fit, pergola, retaining seating wall, redesign of all the plants and installing of SOD across 7000 sqft of backyard. Along the side was a beautiful walking path from the side entrance for us to get to the backyard. Throughout the property all the plants, trees, focus lights, path lights, patio lights were installed. "A+ Landscaping did an absolutely outstanding job designing and constructing a new patio for us. When originally built, our house had a 10'x12' concrete pad that was not very functional. We wanted a new and larger patio that would be conducive to outdoor entertaining and also be very attractive, while also complying with local stormwater management ordinances. Marcus came out to our house, sketched out a design, and gave us some great ideas. When completed, the patio was about 450 square feet, with Techo Bloc permeable pavers, sitting walls, pillars, and and low voltage lights on a timer. ([*** Link removed ***] This was not an easy project, as the local Township stormwater management regulations required careful planning, extensive excavation, and an infiltration bed to be installed underneath the patio. In addition to the patio, A+ Landscaping also installed some river rock in an area where grass doesn't grow well, three large stepping stones, new mulch beds and plantings along one side of the patio as well as along one side of the house, and also installed three pop-up rain spouts in the yard. They started the project when promised and worked straight through until completed four days later. They also reseeded areas that were excavated. I am biased, but I believe we have the nicest patio of the more than eighty homes in our community! We spent about $17,000 for everything, but that included the patio and landscaping work. It was well worth the investment."

"They arrived very promptly, ready for work dressed in their company jackets with excellent leaf blowers. The .42 acre lot, with many trees, had not been raked all season. We have a Certified Wildlife Habitat property, and mulch the leaves ourselves to put in the beds. As we had asked, they used a tarp to move the ever-growing pile of very wet leaves (after 3 days of rain) to the area at the back of the property we had designated. It took them less than 2 hours, and the price was very reasonable, $55 less than the other landscaper we had engaged who never showed up. "Adam and his team are very knowledgeable of the plantings that will thrive here in PA and work closely with our viewpoints of what we want our beds and landscape to look like. We collaborate well together and Adam makes you feel like you are his ONLY client! He has trimmed (and I mean taken a lot of dead limbs off) a very large tree that sits very close to our house. He responded the same day to our emergency call following a lightening and wind storm that brought down 4 large branches and damaged a very large tree at the end of our driveway. Both jobs were done with great skill and care for our property and our trees. He is INCREDIBLY reasonably priced and the quality of his work is definitely an A!"

"After meeting with a number of other contractors for our project, we decided to hire MD Construction. We hired MD Construction to replace the failing retaining wall in our driveway as well as installing steps to a paved pathway that leads to our yard. We met with Miguel (the owner of the MD Construction) and he is very knowledgeable with the process and materials involved. They gave us a great price and provided us with a copy of their insurance and NJ contractor’s license. When they started the work, we had very bad rainstorms the entire week, which made their job even harder. However, they were diligent and professional throughout the process and completed the project on time and within budget. The wall looks great and is an appealing improvement to the home. We will be using them again to replace our patio in our backyard."

"*  The top layer of grass was removed from the section between the fence and the driveway, but they didn't clear down far enough
   to allow the Red Stone to set down in the ground where the grass had been.  The weed barrier fabric was put in place almost
   level with the driveway, so that most of the Red Stone is driveway level or above.  This means that the stones keep falling out of
   the border area into the driveway.
*  Rather than being removed, the weeds were just turned-over in the garden beds.
 
*  The pots were placed in the gardens as requested. However, more than 1.5  to 2 inches of mulch were installed  -
   as much as 4 to 5 inches in most areas, totally covering the Vinca Minor plants in one bed. When I asked about the plants
   having been covered over, Tom said they would be fine.   When I asked if they could spread any "extra" mulch in a bed located
   on the other side of the house that also contains Vinca Minor, he said covering those plants is "not recommended".  I questioned 
   why, then they'd covered the same plants on the bed on the other side of the house.  He didn't answer.
*  Instead of "neatening or straightening" the existing beds in the backyard as I'd requested, they just edged those beds following
    the edges that had grown in crookedly.
    When I talked to Tom Garro about coming back to address the edging of the garden beds, he said that he was to "define the existing beds" and he said he'd done that and wasn't coming back.  I'm guessing he wasn't thrilled that on the day they arrived I'd asked him to place six pots in the back garden as well.  I don't know.  I just know that I had to try to uncover all the young Vinca plants that they'ed covered with 3 to 4 inches of mulch; and I had to try to straighten/neaten the edging of the gardens along the sides and back of our backyard.  That was frustrating because that was what we'd paid Land Details to do.

"In late fall, I noticed that a piece of a stone wall abutting my driveway had broken off and was drifting into the driveway. Concerned that the wall would fall into the driveway, I contacted Quinn Brothers Masonry. They came out within two days, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. The work involved taking down both walls, knocking off old mortar on the stones, and removing ivy. After the walls were taken down, protective covering was placed on the exposed dirt, and drainage pipes and gravel were installed. They then rebuilt the walls, using the original stones. While rebuilding the walls, Patrick Quinn advised me that my stone house foundation had been compromised by paint and old mortar. I authorized additional work to restore the foundation. The paint on the stone foundation was removed and the old mortar was taken out. Then, the entire foundation had new mortar installed. I am extremely pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again."
