"Despite multiple unforeseen and uncontrollable (weather) issues, Robert and his crew worked incredibly hard to complete the work per the scope. The current driveway was not installed correctly when the house was built in 1993, so it took a great deal more time to remove and replace the correct way. The existing step from our front porch and slope of the sidewalk were out of code and a potential insurance nightmare. Again, Robert and his team made sure to communicate this to us and worked tirelessly to install the steps and walkway. Robert has great relationships with the local City and permit officials as well as subcontractors - this was incredibly important to our scope of work. We would recommend (and have recommended!) his company to anyone in the area and will consider him first in the future for any work."

"We hired Maxima Concrete after getting 3 estimates, they were competitively priced, and we saw the patio and walkway project they did for my sister last year and that turned out great. Tom the estimator had great input on what we had in mind. Jacquie in the office was friendly and very helpful answering questions as needed. Tear out and form setup was on July 16th a Friday. There was an issue with the forms for the new siting area off the porch. I called on Saturday morning at 8 AM leaving a voice message with Jacquie and not really expecting a response till Monday morning. Within 3 hours Flavio, the owner, came out and he saw what I was talking about and promised a crew would be out early Monday to correct it. At 7:45 Monday morning the crew came out and corrected the issue to our complete satisfaction. The following day the concrete was poured as scheduled. The whole project turned out great and looks FANTASTIC, exceeding our expectations!! We have had numerous compliments by neighbors. Both crews; the tear out & form placement crew and the concrete pouring crew, showed up as scheduled, were professional, performed outstanding workmanship and left the work area clean upon work completion."

Anthony worked closely with me to lay out the new design. He maneuvered his Bobcat through the narrow opening between my house and garage without ever having an issue to get to the area that needed all the work done.

The crews were always professional and answered my questions. This was the 4th job I have had done with this great group of guys. This one was done with quarry stone and stain. The layout of the steps were a bit tricky because I wanted rounded steps in a smaller area. In the end, they figured out exactly how to get it all done.

Most companies would bring the concrete to a point where it meets the sidewalk; Jamie goes the extra mile and makes it 12 inches wide so that the point will not break off if it is driven on."

"Hastings did what they said. Other contractors had a hard time getting a quote back to me. Their price was competitive and they showed up when they were supposed to. Adam answered his phone whenever I needed him. Most contractors only do that when it is convenient to them. My driveway measures 18ft by 44ft; along with them doing my walkway. They showed up at 8 AM and Terry their bobcat guy had the old driveway and walk torn out in an hour. The guys did their thing with setting the forms and using the vibratory compactor. At 3 PM, the rest of the crew and the concrete arrived. They finished the pour and edged it just after 6 PM. I was amazed! Done in one day! Neighbors have stopped to ask about the guys who did my driveway."
