"The price was great. Justin and his crew were at my project sight the day after we agreed on a price. They arrived on time and prepared to work. They answered all of my questions. Their work on replacing a temporary block walk with a beautiful poured concrete walkway with a brushed finish ,was top of the line. They started about 9am and finished by 3pm. They did a beautiful job. and great clean-up. They are a great team to work with. and Looking forward to working with them on my 2nd project."

"I've read reviews from other people, and it's interesting how people can have different experiences. I had a 26X65 concrete slab put in, and culvert put in along with some grading done. Kevin came when he said he would and did what he said he would do. I guess my experience overall was one that hit a lot of different angles. The work done was great, but there were some misunderstandings that was of no fault of Kevin's, but I made them his. One of which was no fault of mine, either, but the company led me down the wrong path painting the picture that what Kevin was supposed to do didn't. As I was out of town, I called him up and voiced my displeasure. He responded very professionally and explained the situation to make me understand that he did do what was asked of him. A couple other times, a text went awry and something else that I have since forgotten. But each time he handled himself professionally and had no attitude despite being falsely accused. I'm sorry to hear of other people's situation, but I can only speak for myself and what I experienced. The other thing that impressed me was Kevin was willing to haul his equipment, and did, from a few hours away to regrade an area that this company said they couldn't get across, which was the companies miscommunication. The other thing is response time. There was one time it took a while for him to respond, but living in a rural area, and given that if you're in the middle of a job, I can't expect someone to always be available. One time we even lost connection due to how things are. Just something to keep in mind if you live in an area with ONE bar : /"

"Jason took our stairs to the basement that were a tiny spiral mid evil type stair case and made them so amazing. He also took out 7 layers of flooring in our kitchen and laid new real wood to match our current wood floor. He also drove out of his way to pick up our new granite. He came back a couple years later and redid our entire front porch and did some electrical and other odd and end jobs. He is an honest man and Works very hard."

"The techs that came to do the job - Matt and Ryan - were great  They were on-time, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable.  They explained the process to me, and then took extreme care in leveling an area that abutted the foundation, a door, and a large, heavy double gate.  They went the extra mile by adjusting the gate latch so that it would close easily after the concrete was raised.  They also leveled a section of concrete on the walk to my porch - looks brand new.  They cleaned up everything when they were finished.  Everything looks great, the concrete is level with the door jamb again, my gate works better than it did before the work, and they couldn't have been nicer.  <br> <br>NOTE:  Because my job was considered small for this company, Steve Shipley added leveling the section of walk because he said that the area around the door was not a big enough job for their minimum cost!  I really appreciate his honesty and that he told me this and added an additional job.  Thanks, A-1 Concrete! <br> <br>"

"We liked them, but we just have not decided what we're going to do.  I would say just on the person that we met and his knowledge and everything, really good.  I liked that the man was very knowledgeable and very pleasant, very willing to answer any questions, and even we could call him later if we had more questions.  They are somebody I would definitely deal with if we decide to do the work.  He was here actually a little early, just came in, we talked about what we wanted, we went out and looked at the porch and the area around it, and he was just altogether really good.  I had a very good feeling about if we decided to do the work and have him do it.  The estimate was detailed, and then he explained it as well.  I know some people will just write it up and hand it to you, but he went through each thing, we'll do this and we'll do this, and this is how it works and everything.  I thought the estimate seemed to me lower than I was anticipating because I really had no idea what to anticipate.  My husband thought it was a little high, but he also had no idea on what to anticipate.  I thought it was fair.  I don't have that much experience in getting quotes.  If we decide to do the work, we will have them do the work. "

"It was by far the best service we've ever received from a service provider! I happened to meet Mr Wallace at the local Sherwin -Willams paint store during a Sunday afternoon supply run. As we both were waiting for an available sales clerk we chatted and Mr Wallace was a wealth of information on home improvement "how to" advice. He returned that evening to check on the progress, in fact Mr Wallace checked on the progress and quality of the work everyday of the three day job. With his guidance we also performed the tasks we needed to do, in the evenings, to be ready for the tradesmen arriving next. Over the past four months we have undergone several home improvement projects: landscaping, exterior house painted, foundation and masonry work, plumbing, whole house carpet cleaning, roof and window work... a total of 10 service providers, with over 30 dudes and dudettes working on my property!
