"Jason and team removed existing and broken aggregate concrete driveway and laid down asphalt. They came on time and finished when they said they would. They had serious construction equipment that didn't never touched my house or a sprinkler head right next to the driveway. Excellent job."

"Very well. This is the second time we have used them. First time just seal. It lasted much longer than the company we used prior years. This time we needed a couple cracks filled. They were prompt, very professional, and quick. We won't use anyone else as long as they continue to service us."

"Within a few hours of contacting Seal Man, Sean Angel came by to look over my driveway and sidewalk for an estimate.  His estimate was very fair and I was impressed with the information on what would be done.  We ended up scheduling for the following week.  The guys came out in one day and did all the prep work and the next morning they came back and sealed.  One of the best prep jobs I have seen, very thorough.  The driveway and sidewalk look fantastic!  I would absolutely recommend Seal Man for any type of resealing, whether it be aggregate or asphalt.  Everyone was very nice and respectful, which is always a plus.  Thanks, Sean! <br />"

"Promptly gave me a call. Came by within 3 days, explained what he would do and the cost was reasonable. Robert told me to call if I had any questions. The men did the work neatly, and cleaned up. I would hire again."

"I cannot say enough good things about Tyrone and Adiches Concrete & Construction. We could not be more pleased with the results. We hired Tyrone to pour a 1200 sqft monolithic slab/foundation for a two-story building. He advised us on options and materials to keep costs down and manage their availability. He kept us informed of the progress at every step of the project. If weather or materials changed beyond his control, he quickly suggested options to keep the project moving. You can easily reach them by phone or text during the entire project. The crew was polite and friendly. Their experience was evident from the start of the project. The attention to detail is impressive, from prep and pour to finishing. I highly recommend using Adiches and will do so for all our future concrete work. At a minimum, have Tyrone come out for the education. You won’t be disappointed."

"<p>After providing a detailed quote, Michael Worden stayed in touch and provided detailed description of proposed work.  This was a modification to an existing asphalt driveway to include a new ramp and extension for a detached 2-car garage.  Some excavation and patching work also had to be performed.  The project was done as scheduled in one-day and we are very pleased with the results.</p> <br />"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Prince George, VA

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
