"I needed to replace my front brick steps from Brick to Concrete. We have been running into loose bricks, pretty much after each winter, to the extent that I was concerned about safety of visitors (my brother-in-law fell on a loose brick). Chris and crew showed up on time (like 1 min early!). And they did a great job taking all the bricks out and pouring concrete instead to give us a peace of mind and a good looking concrete steps. Throughout the process, Chris explained to me what is going on in detail and answered all my questions. I probably asked him the same question a few times and he patiently answered my questions. Chris is a master mason with specialty in concrete. He knows what he is doing and does it well. He is humorous, generous and a gentleman. Chris (personally) spent a lot of time power washing other areas of my pavers even though that was not part of the deal. I offered to pay him for it but he refused and said "I just want the place to look gorgeous when I leave. I highly recommend Chris and his team for any concrete / cement work."

"Stephen and his team did a great job adding in a railing alongside our steps leading up to our house, while matching the wood/decor to our existing front porch without us even having to tell him and did a solid job on Concrete repair around our storm cellar. Would hire again."

"Tim and his father did a great job replacing a couple squares of sidewalk at our home that were done improperly by a different contractor. They got me an estimate and fit me in their schedule quickly, all while doing the work the right way at a fair cost. I would definitely ask them to do additional work in the future and recommend them if you need concrete or masonry work as well. They are also licensed in Columbus and insured. Before hiring any vendor to do work at your home, I highly recommend you verify both of those things. I came across a number of other concrete vendors who did not have either or both of those documents and some were less than forthcoming about it."

"Ron, the owner gave us an estimate and called with a proposed date to complete the project.  He did not ask for any deposit and said we could pay him when we were satisfied with the job.  On the first day they removed the old patio using a bobcat with a hydraulic hammer.  I told him that I didn't want the yard damaged so he said that he would bring the bobcat in the yard only one time and he kept his word.  The bobcat didn't do any damage.  They hauled the broken concrete through the garage utility door using a wheelbarrow.. The next day they formed the new patio and verified with my wife that they design was satisfactory.  Due to the extreme heat they decided to pour the concrete the following morning to assure a quality result.  The next day they poured the concrete using wheelbarrows.  After the concrete partially dried they applied a powder and used stamp pads and formed the design in the concrete.  Stamping concrete is a very messy job and the powder is very dusty.  The following day they came back to clean and seal the stamped concrete.  I was impressed with their knowledge of the business, their attention to detail (not damaging my yard) and their willingness to work in extreme heat.  . They were also careful to clean the house, driveway and the area at the end of each day and upon completion of the job.   "

Overall I would have to say this was a disappointing experience. I purchased a BigDeal and it took forever to get my project scheduled. I had a small job and maybe that's why it took so long. After the work was finally scheduled the job took 2 days to complete. Day 1 the floor was completely sanded & coat one laid down. However there was wood dust left over in places throughout the room. They need to clean their filters better before starting another job. To me, this is just plain laziness and unacceptable. Day 2, the second coat was applied, screened and clear-coated. After about two weeks I had noticed that they did not do a piece right in the doorway and a small strip behind the supply vent. It's actually the same piece of flooring. It looks horrible and I can't believe no one noticed it until well after the job was completed. We had carpet put down and those guys are the ones that pointed it out to us.. We were so embarrassed. I ended up doing that piece myself and it was a complete pain in the ***.

Darrin responded to my inquiry very quickly, was able to complete the job - installing 11 pairs of exterior shutters which were relatively sizable and heavy- in the timeframe we needed (which was the same week we put the inquiry out), his pricing was competitive to other bids, and he was very communicative the entire time regarding arrival times, etc. He helped us determine the brackets that came with the shutters were unlikely to hold up and worked with us to find a better solution. Also, he noticed our exterior lights needed upgraded. Funny enough, we had already purchased 7 new exterior lights. When we told him we had lights ready to install, he gave us a quote on the spot that was better than any quote we had and he was willing to do that work while on site for the shutters. He did fantastic work and was very professional. Highly recommend!"
