"Heath and his crew carefully excavated around the area of the suspected blockage or break and found that the original drain line had not been properly connected when it was originally installed and had caused the four-inch plastic drain line to become clogged with mud and stop working. Heath connected the four-inch drain line as it should have been connected when it was originally installed. He connected the drain line from the house and the existing clean-out pipe to the existing drain line with a 45 degree elbow. <br /> Before I called Eand B Wooley, I had started to install a collection sump box where the four-inch line connects to the six-inch farmer's tile drain line. Heath connected the lower end of the green four-inch PVC drain line to the six-inch farmer's tile drain line and my collection sump box with another 45 degree elbow to complete the installation. He tested the connection and the water flow to make certain the line was draining properly before filling in the area he had excavated. After confirming that the drain lines were working, he carefully filled in the areas of excavation and leveled the ground to make certain damage to the surrounding grass was minimized. <br /> I was completely impressed by the professional work Heath and his crew accomplished to isolate, identify and correct the problem of the original installation. Heath's services were very cost-effective. "My main sewer line was backed up (standing water) which meant I qualified for the 1 pass with small spade adapter at end of snake and only go 75ft out in my line. ( if my clog was 100ft too bad for me and would be $420). If you have clog and standing water you get one pass up to 75ft with no root cutting blade. First time customer that one pass cost $93 and hopefully it’ll unclog your line. ( it did for me ! Ya! ). If not then starts the real bleeding $$$$. I’m must of been under a rock for last 20 years but close to $500 to snake your sewer line is outrageous! So if you have loads of money and money isn’t a factor? They were professional and got the job done same day, if you are tight on cash I’d look elsewhere! That’s why they won’t quote any kind of price over the phone because they’d never get their foot in the door. Good luck and good flushing."

Mike also looked around the basement and found another floor drain and cleared the drain by grinding out the tree roots that were blocking it. Mike recommended that we have the city remove the tree or we would continue to have problems with the root system. We are already taking steps with the city to do so. "I had Drain Connection out two times to try and troubleshoot a plumbing problem.  They spent quite a bit of time with me trying to troubleshoot the problem because it wasn't obvious what it was.  I called other big name companies to come out and troubleshoot as well but they did very little and offered to try things but only for a price.   <br /> It was determined that the toilet stack, floor drain and incorrect toilet seal needed replaced. Drain Connection replaced those things and also snaked the vent pipe as they had access to it when they removed the stack.  I no longer have drain issues!  The employees were very friendly and even sent me pictures of the pipe after they jackhammered my floor as I couldn't be home while they did it.  They cleaned up the work area when they were done. <br /> I would definitely recommend Drain Connection for your plumbing needs!  I have already recommended them to a co-worker who needs to have his sewer line cleaned out. <br />"

"<p>I have a basement floor drain that was for the laundry when it was in the basement.  Over the years, I've periodically had small trickles of water come thru the basement wall/floor joints. I noticed that the floor drain was slowing and this spring, with all the rain we had in June, I had 5" of water in the basement and the drain stopped working all together.  </p> <p>I got several estimates and while Plumbing One wasn't the cheapest, it was the most comprehensive and covered all of the work I requested.</p> <p>The work involved removing the concrete floor, digging down 18-24", and removing the old clay drain tiles.  When the reached the area where the basement floor drain connected to the plumbing stack from the upstairs, the found the old pipes cracked and leaking. This resulted in a change in the total cost and more repairs.</p> <p>The team of 3 arrived on time.  They worked all day and stayed until after 6:30 pm to make sure that my facilities worked before they left for the day.  The first day, they removed all of the clay tiles, replaced the entire 25 feet with PVC and added a backwater valve that I had requested.</p> <p>Day 2, they arrived and leveled the entire line and readied it for inspection.  Because I had some family plans on Thursday, they worked with me to return on Friday to fill in the trench and re-cement the basement floor.  They returned again on Monday morning, after the floor cement set up, to cut off the drain stacks to floor level.</p> <p>They entire team was courteous, professional, respectful, and cleaned up every day before they left.  I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs when you want the job done right the first time.</p> <br />"
