"Excellent service right from the beginning to the end of the project. Sales team was very helpful and provided advice on what had to be done. Since I had an existing backsplash and did not want to replace it, they pointed out that there was an 1/8" difference in height that had to be taken care of. All the other providers never mentioned this, even though they knew the backsplash was not being changed. Only when I mentioned it to the other provider, did they realize it.. At design time the gentlemen was very helpful in deciding which part of the stone to use. We changed the design of the island and they immediately were willing to work with us at no additional cost. On the day of installation, the crew arrived promptly at 9 am and were totally done by 2 pm. We also included the plumber from Konkus and he too was very professional and thorough in his work and made sure there were no leaks. Extremely happy with everything. Overall we only paid about $60 over the next cheapest vendor and we felt it was totally worth it."

"<p>Our first contact with Granite Direct was at the 2016 Spring Home & Builders Show.  We left them a rough sketch with measurements and within a couple of days we received a quote.  Carolyn sent us the names and addresses of their granite suppliers and we went and put together a short list of selections.  This was all new to us as we've never had granite counters installed.</p> <p>We received a second quote from a different company which was a little less than the Granite Direct quote.  But they were very slow to respond so we felt that Granite Direct would give us better customer service.  A lower quote doesn't do much for you if the customer service is sub-par.</p> <p>The measurement and installation went great.  The techs were prompt and professional.  There is one thing I would do different,  and this is totally on me and nothing to do with Granite Direct.  We bought a single hole faucet and also wanted to install the soap dispenser so that would require cutting two holes.  We've never had either of these before.  When the tech was in taking the measurements he asked me how far apart I wanted the soap dispenser from the faucet.  Instead of grabbing my faucet and getting a good idea of what it would look like installed I told him that 6 inches should be enough.  Everything was installed just fine but we probably should have had an 8 inch separation.</p> <p>The other thing we learned is that granite in Columbus moves fast.  A slab that you see one day will be gone two days later and then you might be starting over in the selection process.</p> <p>Granite Direct was great to work with.  Carolyn is very friendly with a positive attitude.  We would definitely use them again.<br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Very professional. Arrived on time on date and time agreed upon. There is a $500 charge to the home owner if no one is not at the home during the template or installation phase as scheduled. They did a beautiful job and were very courteous during the installation. Went out of their way to make sure I knew what they were doing regarding noise. Protected floor and kept dust to a minimum. The glue does smell bad after they are done so you need to make sure you can air out your house. The cost was a little more than I thought since it is not granite, but you do not need to seal and it does not stain. Also, downtime was only 12 hours. It only to them 2 hours to install and 12 hours to set."

"Soapstone is not very common, and few companies work with it. When we initially contacted Perotta, none of the local stone suppliers they recommended had any slabs in stock. However, they worked with us very hard to find a source with slabs that we liked, and gave us a very reasonable price of around $75/sq. ft. <br /> <br /> The installers were very polite and came on time the day they were scheduled. They asked permission before driving through my yard, and took care not to leave ruts. They said they had not done many soapstone installations, but the install was quick and very high quality. They even aligned the veins in the stone along the seams between pieces. <br /> <br /> There were some unexpected marks on the stone, because it is softer than granite, but they quickly polished those away and ended up with a very quality finish. The installers were easy to talk to and very willing to work with our specifications on sink hole placement and other minor details. <br /> <br /> There was one fault in the installation that was not noticed until after the installers had left. When sliding the counter into place, they had caused a crack in the plastic on the other side of the wall. When I called to report this, it took them a while to call me back, but once I spoke with the owner he was very willing to make right and subtracted the cost of repairs from my bill. <br /> <br /> They left the kitchen clean when they finished, although they did leave a bit of a mess on my back porch from dust from some additional cutting they had to do on the stone. They also rearranged some items on our back porch which had been organized, which caused a bit of annoyance. <br /> <br /> Overall, the install look gorgeous and our one real complaint they took care of without a fuss. Would use again."

"It was amazing! They were very kind and wonderful to work with. They were very helpful and offered tips and ideas along the way. Very honest and we would definitely hire again for other projects. Our custom mud pan and stone work in our shower floor is amazing!! Such care and detail was given in placement of all tile. We chose glass tile for our shower walls and that was tricky at times and they made sure that they communicated when there were issues. Our floor and walls were difficult to work with and they were awesome in doing what they could to make it the way we wanted. We love our new bathroom and are so thankful to have found Davey Tile on Angie's List. Highly recommend them to do your tile work."

"I purchased their silver servicing package through Angie's List for $180. Our fireplace is only 7 years old, but I wanted that maintenance package because this is a new house for us. They responded quickly to my first request, saying they were scheduling dates for two weeks later and asking for my cell phone. I provided that and didn't hear from them for another week so I followed up with another email. They responded quickly and called to schedule the appointment with Dale who would arrive between 8 and 10 a.m. and call me when he is on his way. Dale called at 8:30 and was at the house 15 minutes later. He was professional and knowledgeable. He found and repaired the gas leak, cleaned the glass, and explained the maintenance and cleaning process. He was done quickly and the fireplace is working perfectly with a clean glass it looks brand new. Overall we are very pleased with the service. I may have gotten the same result with the bronze package but was concerned with the gas leak."
