Customers say: Terrific value

"There were a of communication (or lack of on the part of the company) and scheduling issues. When the workers arrived they finished the project, but told me they didn’t have a truck to haul away the rubble. I was too tired to argue, so it was left for me to shovel and rake. Later, I noticed that the workers cut expansion joints but did not cut up to the house because they didn’t have the correct tool, so they just left it. I had to call for them to come back and finish it. They also chipped part of the concrete. When I pointed it out, I was told to just fill it with sealant, and it would be alright. The concrete slab is good, but I wouldn’t really recommend them. Too much hassle."

"Great experience on a big job! Ryan’s crew started and finished ahead of schedule. I had a pretty big job that included enough concrete for a half basketball court, additional driveway space and a 20’x25’ foundation for an outbuilding. I chose RocketCrete because they had a bigger crew to get the work done. Ryan helped me flesh out some details on the project, and they did a fantastic job!"

"When I first called and left William Benford a message he called back within a couple of hours, he came out in undesirable weather to give me a free estimate, then emailed the estimate the same day he came out. I could hardly even get any of the other companies to call me back, and when I did they would say they were coming and never show up. The first estimate he gave was incorrect due to a miscalculation, and he took the extra supply cost out of labor to make up for the mistake.
I called to confirm the project on Tuesday and it was finished by Friday night! I made changes to the original plan and he and his crew worked with me so I would get the finished product I wanted. There were a few rough areas and he came back out without having to be asked to smooth everything out. William with  Annointed Concrete is honest, reasonable and a man of his word, and we will definitely use him again if we ever need another project done. "

"Brad was great to work with. Very friendly and confident in his work. The recent cold and wet weather caused a few delays and issues, but when the weather got nicer, they were back on the job and fixed the few minor issues caused by the weather. The limestone foundation was had a lot of cracks and crevices, but was covered very well. Only found a few spots that were quickly fixed where the shadows and cracks hid whether it was painted thoroughly or not. The job site was kept straightened and the crew was courteous and professional. I'm sure I'll have paint work in the future and I know who I will be calling. Highly recommend."

FAQs for concrete foundation installation projects in Pulaski, TN

A concrete footer is a relatively shallow column of concrete that sits below your foundation walls. Footers spread wider than the foundation, so they can support a higher amount of weight in critical spots, such as below walls. The exact dimensions of footers depend on the home, so larger structures need a larger footing.

To calculate footing size, you need to know the minimum width and depth for houses in your region. Multiplying the width by the linear footprint of the structure will give you the size in linear feet.

To convert linear feet into square feet, you can divide the width by 12. For example, an 18-inch footer is 1.5 square feet per linear foot. Multiply this number by the total in linear feet to get the answer in square feet.

Installing a pier and beam foundation costs $5 per square foot, or $8,000 to $15,000. This style is standard in homes built before the 1960s or those in flood-prone areas.

Concrete weight support ranges from 1,500 to 6,500 pounds per square inch, and footings need at least 3,500 to 4,500 pounds per square inch. Remember that your soil type, climate, and materials used will significantly affect how much weight your footings can hold, especially in certain areas.

It costs between $1,600 and $3,200 to pour a 20-by-20-foot concrete slab. These estimates are based on an average cost to pour a concrete slab of $4 to $8 per square foot. Be sure to discuss the specifics with a pro—they’ll give you an estimate of how much you can expect.

The cost to raise a house is between $3,200 and $10,000. This range refers to a form of repair that involves lifting the entire house to potentially remove the old foundation and build a new one or add to an existing one.
