"We had a generator installed yesterday, Nov. 16, 2010 by Custom Electric and were pleased with the customer service and installation. While installing the generator a transformer blew up across the street. Fortunately, they had just completed the installation ( less than 2 minutes before) and the generator activated perfectly. Timing couldn't have been more close. We are waiting for an inspection by the City of Renton's electrical division - pending no problems I would consider this installation flawless."

"The job was poorly done and the most unprofessional contractor I have ever worked with . The job was supposed to be done by September , then Oct 15, finally November 1st. We staged the home and paid for professional photography . The contractor still had not finished . The quality of work was so poor and did not meet the final deadline. He threatened a lien on the property unless he had an opportunity to come back and finish the job. He came back and still took until mid December to finish and still left some items unfinished stating they were not in the scope of the job. (leaking hosebib) , tile not finished , caulking and paint not finished. The contractor did not enter the property other then 4 times in 4.5 months. The bid was so unspecified on the work to be done that the contractor could legally say "not within the scope". Paid 130,000.00 and the finish work was so poor and the stress of constant follow up and babysitting just to keep the job on task was tiring. Do not hire Dave"

When I called at 12:30 to ask for a specific arrival time, I was told the technician would contact me 30 minutes before arriving—but they couldn’t give me a time estimate. I waited another 2.5 hours before receiving a call informing me that no technician would be coming at all. My only options were to reschedule or cancel. I asked to speak with a manager and was placed on long hold. Eventually, I was told the manager was “too busy” to speak with me and would call me later. That call never came. This experience was a complete waste of time and resources, and the lack of accountability was appalling. Hunt’s HVAC Services failed to honor their commitment, communicate effectively, or show basic courtesy. I strongly advise others to stay away from this business."
