"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"My cost was $500 as Allstate paid the rest. Price was about the same as other bids. These people were recommend by Allstate Insurance. They did a good job and cleaned up everything.  <br /> DO. Call your insurance company first and have them send out their inspector. <br /> DO. Have the work done local. <br /> Do not waste your time with people who want to inspect your roof after a storm. Call your Insurance Company if you think you may have a problem. <br />"

"Called twice and setup 2 appointments. Did not show for either appointment. Didn't call to say he wasn't going to make either appointment. Didn't apologize when I called after he missed the first appointment. Eventually Dennis showed up and looked at the roof. The estimate matched the final price. He must have taken 5 phone calls during the 20 minutes he was at the house which was a little ignoring. Anyway we set the date for the repair, which he missed. After calling and reminding him that he missed the date, this time he did apologize and set a new date. The roof is fixed (it was a minor repair) and it looks like they did a very good job. So basically you need to stay on Dennis to keep his attention but they did a good job."

"Not well, they were very slow two other houses on our block were finished in the same time period by different contractor in half the time, the owner never came over to check on thework, the husband and wife argued all the time and we were asked for $1,500 more than the contractEd amount because they ran into water damage in the bathroom. We knew they would and covered that with them when we're signing the contract and were assured that was taken into account in the listed contracted price. We were also not given the senior discount mentioned in their Angie's List price. <br />"
