"I recently hired Michael and his crew to give some love to the beat-up old brick wall of my house. Being the end unit of a set of rowhomes, my property has been battered by countless torrents of rains and several hurricanes. Starting from the point of repair service request on Angi's List, Michael responded very quickly and I found him to be extremely courteous and professional. He promptly came to give us an estimate, and his quote was pleasantly thorough! (lazy contractors- take heed!) The work to be done was well described and itemized, included pictures, and very competitively priced. This made our decision a "slam dunk". Michael replaced 59 bricks, and also did extensive tuck and repointing. Michael also noticed some damage in the roofing area which was not apparent during the quote and ended up repairing/sealing our chimney with a cap and stucco (which was not in the original quote). Really went above and beyond. What an excellent contractor! Michael has brought my family a sense of great relief with his work, now that moisture and water have no way in. I will recommend him 100 times out of 100 to friends, family, and acquaintances!"

"I had three different chimney companies come out for estimates, including Bricks. Bricks was the only one that bothered to actually thoroughly inspect my two fireplaces and wide chimney, discovering that one of my dampers was broken and more. The whole chimney needed to be stuccoed because the veneer stone on it was falling apart, and previous owners had covered a lot of it (foolishly) in roof tar. Bricks was the only company that thoroughly explained everything wrong, without using scare tactics. They were nice and patient, and I’m confident if anything goes wrong with the repair, they’d come out to fix it. It was a pricey job, but doing things right is often pricey. Worth it, though."

(Not an easy feat with multiple households, one being out of state for an extended period.) However, the paperwork was managed easily by A & J Excavation. "Bill and his team handled multiple fixes for our household (I was only allowed to select one option here). First, Bill was very responsive and able to come out to see what I wanted fixed at my first availability. I was given a quote a few days later and it was in the same range as the other three quotes I had received (there was one fix - support under our house and deck that couldn't be accessed from a quick look, but Bill provided a rough estimate - the other companies wouldn't even provide a rough estimate). I decided to go with Zarza, Inc because of the friendliness, detailed description of the estimates, and flexibility to add more work if requested. The team was able to get started just a few weeks after I signed a contract and our experience was phenomenal. Every individual on the 4 person team was friendly, courteous, and extremely talented. After a week of the team being here and seeing their work, my wife and I were so impressed by the quality of their work we asked for additional fixes, which the team were able to fit into their busy schedule. Overall the team was here for just over 2 weeks, fixed every issue we had, and our experience was extremely positive. Bill was also able to recommend a local lumber store (Tinsman Brothers) where my dad and I purchased some lumber for an additional job we wanted to tackle ourselves.
