"We hired Plymouth Meeting Nursery to completely transform the exterior landscape of our 100+ year-old home, where we live with our three young children and our ever-faithful golden retriever. As a licensed landscape architect, we approached this project with high standards and were looking for a contractor who offered fair, transparent pricing, excellent craftsmanship, and timely execution. Plymouth Meeting Nursery delivered on all counts. The scope of work was extensive and included the demolition of all existing landscaping, a deck, concrete walkways, fencing, and excess soil. In its place, the team installed new fencing, a beautiful cedar pergola, repointed brickwork on our home, irrigation, a synthetic lawn alongside fresh sod and thoughtfully selected plantings, outdoor lighting, a stunning bluestone patio with brick steps and retaining wall, a brick and bluestone fireplace, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen featuring a grill, sink, ice maker, and refrigerator. The project spanned nearly five months, during which a few scope changes arose. Each one was handled professionally and flexibly by John and his team. Their commitment was clear: the crew showed up consistently and kept the momentum going, which we greatly appreciated. "My parents have an in-ground pool and over the years new homes were built behind their house. The new houses changed how the rain runoff comes through their backyard. It actually caused mud to pour into the pool TWICE and costs $3000 each time to empty,clean,and refill the pool. I called multiple landscape/drainage pros for estimates and either they quoted a ridiculously high price or never called back. I found Tom on Angi and he came and looked right away. His quote was very reasonable and he didn’t seem too worried about it. He and his team showed up when they said they would and knocked the project out in 2 days! ( I work construction and thought it would be at least double the time.) They excavated the dirt around the edge of the pool and added a deep layer of river rock plus created a vertical paver wall to ensure the water wouldn’t get in the pool. They also used the removed dirt to create a berm in the backyard to further redirect water. They covered the berm in wildflower seed and straw. Overall, everybody is ecstatic with how they fixed our problem. 100% professional quality. His guys worked non stop and they cleaned up after the job was done. I highly recommend using Tom and his team."
