"Egress Windows Fairfax installed an egress window in my basement and did a fantastic job. The window permits emergency evacuation from a room being converted into a bedroom. The reasonable cost of the egress window immediately raised the value of my home. To minimize damage to my yard and my neighbor’s yard the company manually dug the pit for the egress window to below the foundation line and beneath the foundation drainage pipe. I was very surprised to see a large sump pump pit installed below the foundation. The contractor explained that they do this as a service in the event of any future drainage issues it is quick and low cost to install a sump pump. Small stones filled the bottom of the pit. The contractor offered several options for pre-fabricated surrounds to line the pit. Every member of the crew of Egress Windows Fairfax knew their job and worked diligently. They only rested during their lunch time. At the end of the second day the job was completed and the soil was well graded around the new egress window. This is a company with long term employees who take pride in their work and who strive to satisfy their customer. I highly recommend the company."

"We live in Potomac Md and utilized â  58 Foundations for the installation of a sump pump, french drain and various other water damage prevention measures. Sheldon was our technician and he was absolutely exemplary. Completely honest, extremely thoughtful, did exactly what he said he would do and did it very well . I can be a pretty tough customer and Sheldon was one of the best people I ever dealt with. We have had some very persistent issues with water around the house. While Jordan is not the cheapest, the work done was of the highest quality. After the project was completed, the walls were repaired and everything was meticulously cleaned. "Travis and Chris were a great team and did an amazing job bringing our guest bath out of the 80's and into a beautiful modern space. Travis worked with my husband and me on our design vision and helped us pick out materials to complete the renovation. From there, we made a deposit and scheduled a date. This was a complete bathroom overhaul that required all new fixtures. When they tore up the carpet (yes, carpet) in the bathroom they found that the floor was half the cement foundation and half wood subfloor, which made for an uneven surface not ideal for laying tile. Travis quickly came up with a solution that allowed us to level out the floor and put down the tile we wanted. This delayed the project slightly, but it was well worth it to have a beautiful finished product. Each evening Travis and Chris cleaned up the space as much as possible and were very respectful in our house. I would definitely hire Graham Restoration for our next project and look forward to working with them again!

"The crew arrived early and got right to work. There was no furniture in the house to move but they carefully covered all floors and fixtures. They finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up everything.

"This was my  first experience with a major home improvement project, and I'm extremely pleased with the result. The goal of the project was to update the master bath by tearing out a rarely used jacuzzi size tub, expanding the shower, and replacing the vanity, fixtures, mirror and toilet.  After requesting a quote from 3 contractor's, I received a call from Sheri at Gem Orion. She set up an appointment for me to meet with Mike. He was prompt, personable and had great remodeling ideas. I received quotes from the other 2 contractor's, both of which came in higher.
Professional: It was a little overwhelming trying to find and then coordinate the new materials for the bath...tile, vanity, granite, etc. Gem Orion provided the companies they have accounts with, and I received great service from all of them as well. During the project, the floor/carpet /stairway was protected with a plastic cover to prevent dirt and damage. The materials were staged in the master bedroom and the garage throughout the project, and always left neatly at the end of the day. Sheri, the office manager, was the glue to this project. She kept me informed on everything, from material deliveries, to invoices, etc. A real pleasure to work with.
Honest: The project took a little longer than expected, but that worked in my favor. As the tile I selected for the shower was being laid out before installation, Mike was hesitant to proceed due to the inconsistent pattern. He left the tiles for me to inspect, and he was right....they did not look good. So, I had to select new tile which pushed back the project about a week. The new tile looked even better! I appreciated the suggestions and feedback. It's obvious they cared just as much as I did about the outcome of the project.
Trustworthy: It's not easy leaving the house key and an open house to people you've just met. No worries here. This team was friendly and there to get the job done. 
Overall, I am very pleased with Gem Orion and highly recommend their service. I will call on them again for my next project....my kitchen!"
