"It went really well. They came in immediately and sealed off the basement from the rest of the house (There's no door to the basement)). They also set up very large and powerful hepa-air-cleaning units which they kept running through the whole job and in fact until the industrial hygienist returned for post-testing after the job was completed. The manager Mike assured me that the job would be done with the utmost effort and care and that's exactly what happened. The main workers, Marcello and Israel were terrific, meticulous, hard-working, reliable, responsive to any concerns I raised. I really couldn't have asked for any more. Pete Petrochilos and his entire team were extremely professional and the workmanship was superb.  They came when they said they would come and cleaned up after they finished their work each day.  They were polite and dedicated.  Pete was a real gentleman and kept his word on everything that he promised.  If there was a concern, he answered his phone, no matter what the hour and resolved every situation to my complete satisfaction.  His business ethics are of the highest standard and truly unheard of in todays marketplace.  I would recommend him highly to anyone who is looking to have high quality work done without worry or frustration and with the added knowledge that he backs up all his work.  Although his price may have been a bit higher than some, the materials he used, including the insulation, gutters, siding etc. were of the best quality and warranted the very slightly higher cost.  He did a beautiful job!  I have a friend who is extremely knowledgeable and very discerning.   He has already had commented on the flawlessness of Pete's work and now want to use him as well.

Addendum: I had a question a year later about a section of the siding on the upstairs deck.  He drove out to my house in the heat and heavy beach traffic (about an hour) and explained to me why it had been done the way it was done (correctly, I might add).  He wouldn't even take a dime for his trouble.  This is just the kind of service and consideration that can be expected of him.

"Was having the old roof on Mom's house replaced. Overall job went well and contractor cleaned up when done. However in fairness, I think the men could have been more careful during the job. I arrived on the scene on Day 2 to witness men throwing 4x8 sheets of plywood off the roof into a truck below, and occasionally onto the lawn. The truck was filled up and needed to be emptied, so the excess sheets would fall down and bounce out the truck onto the driveway below and sometimes the shrub beds. Some of these shrubs were 50 years old, and took a longtime to shape and grow.. One was smashed,and one tall sprinkler head was knocked crooked. The men didn't seem too responsive to me when I spoke to them, so, I called the owner(who was not on the scene at the time. He arrived the next morning and was able to straighten the sprinkler head, but, the shrub will have to be lived with. Not part of the original job quote."

These folks not only did the job how it was meant to be, not how I asked for, but also came back at no cost for a correction at a very short notice and they aced it. After having two home gutted out and redone, I can say with confidence that they are by far the most professional company I worked with. Jacob handled and oversaw the project.
