"Great in every way!! Started Dec 19 and worked like Santa's elves. They arrive at 7:30 and work til 5:30 and bring their lunch and drinks. They are organized, diligent and Greg is honest and provides great value ( he was half my first estimate to save my pool from going down the hill!) Mine was a specialized concrete project and the slabs had to be jacked up and 85 bags of concrete had to be put under the slabs to form a retaining wall. Then they built a deck and put together a large gazebo. Everything went so well I hired them to finish off my garage and they did THAT quickly and for a good price. Being GREEK descent, Greg knows how to make atone and concrete and rooms that will LAST. He also fixed some plumbing that another handyman did that didn't work. He is pleasant, amenable to changes . "Bernal Construction was very reliable.  They always let me know their work schedule and they were on-site when they said they would be here.
These shade structures was made from large cross section wooden beams 5x8 and 7x12.  Other contractors were reluctant to bid on the project due to the weight of the beams.  Raul Bernal supervised the project and all beams received a primer paint coat and a final color coat before installation.  I was very happy with the end result

"I purchased a Big Deal for $249 for six hours of labor with the intention of having a storage shelf built above the cars in my garage.  Everything was fine but with a small hiccup.  When I first started talking to the company in late August, I emailed pictures and dimensions to Leslie, the project engineer.  She said she had a similar garage, knew what I wanted, and would forward the information to the foreman.  Two weeks later, Kelsey called to confirm the appointment date, she said she did not have the specs for the project, Leslie had been re-assigned, and the foreman would call me to give me a shopping list.  I reitereated that there is no way I can haul sheets of plywood in my convertible and got a little freaked out that no one seemed to know what this project was about.
On the day of the project, Jose picked up the supplies needed and installed the shelf appropriately.  So in the end everything was okay - but I was really nervous for a few days having paid in advance.  Maybe they got so busy with the responses to their Big Deal offer, that things got lost along the way.  Most important, the shelf was built and it is still standing a year later even loaded with furniture, Christmas decorations and boxes.

He's worked on the sprinkler system, put in a stucco retaining wall, installed a paver boundary for the grass. He also does landscape lighting!
