I started painting in Boston whenn I was 19 years old. At the time latex paints were a new thing, and the homes we painted were Victorian homes from the turn of the 20th Century. They required sanding to bare wood, Full prime and two top coats. I worked in England, France and was Malibu Painting for ten years. Painted the Old Malibu Inn Restaurant and homes in the Malibu Colony where Original Chagalls and Picassos hang on the walls. I painted San Diego's own Mark Hamill's (Luke Skywalker) home in Malibu, amongst other stars and musicians. Moved to San Diego in 1994 and no longer hire help but personally do the work myself! You can see my work in the Town of Julian, the Historic Julian Goldrush Hotel exterior, The Stonewall building exterior, The Town Hall inside and out.

I was so pleased I hired them to paint my son's older house in Mira Mesa - not only did they have 6 colors to deal with, but they noticed and fixed a sagging ceiling and went into the attic and fixed it without charging extra! Since then they have also painted my daughter's café in Carlsbad, including a 1980's acoustic tile ceiling dark blue, installed wainscotting and painted all the interior walls. Samuel is a pleasure to deal with, extremely detail-oriented and a real pro. Yet his rates are very reasonable especially given the quality of his work.
