"E Stanley paving did a great job. Their representative Joe was friendly and professional and able to answer all our questions. They started the job within a few days of the initial visit. It entailed a lot more work than I thought. They had to bust up three sections of the driveway in order to make it level and get a proper base and had to raise a drain in the driveway. Due to many issues with the county grinder in our front yard that the county has had to excavate our driveway had sunk down 3 inches. They created a smooth surface level to the sidewalk and did a nice job on the edges. We couldn't be more thrilled."

"Great service, friendly, cooperative & extremely punctual! Beautiful results in a very timely fashion. No mess left behind at all! My driveway was a VERY big & difficult task. It required complete tear down & proper re-doing including all new crushed stone (there was none originally - they just poured a thin layer of asphalt over clay). Will hire them again in the Spring to seal the asphalt."

"Tring to find the right paving company for my driveway and garage pad was a challenge. But, I was happy I found Jones. Nick and his entire team were very responsive, professional, and the quality of work was exceptional. "They did what I asked them to do and they listened to my concerns, Other than being a little behind schedule because I wish theyd had the work done before the colder weather. I guess I;ll know next spring if the cold weather has any adverse effects on the overall quality. They do guarantee their work for one year but with certain exceptions. Fast forward six month, the macadam is very course in most areas and the top stones are easily displaced by using a leaf blower. I asked him to come look at it and he says that normal by can remedy the situation with seal coating. He admitted that it was cold on the day they paved the driveway and basically it wasnt their best work. Thought he could offer me a discount on sealing job but he wouldn;t. Probably hire someone else to seal coat driveway."

"I’ve had several pavers throughout the years and I only wish I had hired Goode Paving first. If that had happened, I would never need to have a botched paving job repaired. Call Todd at Goode Paving because he we not only save you money, his crew will do an incredible job. My project was a repair. The previous paver installed a very thin layer in the area close to the garage and days after they left the problems developed. We suffered with mud coming through the blacktop when it rained, deep water puddles, cracked asphalt and a total mess. We learned about Goode Paving that has an incredible reputation with nothing but positive reviews. Check out my before and after photos to see how GOODE PAVING made it perfect!"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Randallstown, MD

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
