"They were fine. Jonathan Mayo is the proprietor. He was prompt and he was polite. He did just what he said he would. I would certainly call him again. He was a very nice person. It went beautifully. He arrived promptly at 9 when he said he would. He climbed right up on the roof. He brought shingles because my roof is too old to get the same shingles. He had some similar ones. It took him about an hour and that was it. He came down and left. I was very very pleased. The only thing was that I was thinking about things to do to make the house look good to sell it in a few years. Being a businessman, he asked me if I had considered aluminum siding because that would spruce up the house. You would expect an exteriors person to say that. Of course I don't want aluminum siding because I have got a nice wood clapboard house. That was the only thing that he suggested and my house doesn't need it. Aside from that, the job was wonderful. His work was wonderful. I would not even take that as a prompt because you would expect somebody to recommend other things that they do. He does a lot of things. His card said roofing, siding, decking, windows, skylight repair, chimneys, and roof shoveling. He pretty much does it all for the exterior of a house. I was very pleased with the price. I had nothing else to compare it with. I didn't even bother asking anybody else."

"The installation went well, overall. Spectrum's personnel were knowledgeable, courteous, honest and helpful. They assessed both of the two tanks I had originally asked to have replaced and let me know that only one actually needed to be replaced at the time. I appreciated their candor and the explanation and demonstration they gave me to support their estimate that the second apartment's tank would last at least another 5 - 10 years. They advised me in advance that they might need to temporarily remove the stair treads from the two bottom basement stairs in order to manipulate the tanks as they moved the new one in and the old one out. They explained multiple options for transferring fuel between the old and new tanks together with the attendant risks and costs / savings. We decided to schedule the installation once my tenants old tank was almost empty to speed and simplify the process. I was completely satisfied with how they cleaned the installation area and replaced the stair treads at the end of the project. Only one concern arose during the project when the installation had to be delayed for several days because a funeral and another unplanned event came up for one of Spectrum's principals. Except for this delay and the resulting concern about my tenants running out of fuel, the installation went very smoothly and I am quite pleased with the result. <br />"

"He arrived on time and with everything he needed.  He figured out a clever way to make the repair without having more extensive work because of the "cottage cheese" ceilings.  He removed the cabinets, which were not of good quality, boxed in the space between kitchen and living room, replaced the cabinets and added moldings to finish the job nicely.  He even made new moldings for the cabinets to replace pieces that were broken/missing.  <br> <br>He also repaired the seal on the toilet upstairs which had leaked and caused the damage to the kitchen ceiling below.  <br> <br>He is so careful, and conscientious about doing the work properly.  Not a slip-shod bone in his body!  I can whole-heartedly recommend him.  I will certainly be using him again for other projects. <br> <br> <br>"
