"I contacted NMTI-GC to help me figure out the best way to replace the old tar roof on my concrete block garage. My garage had a number of challenging design issues: parapets on all four sides, a center drain, and a weird raised section. I was getting eye-popping quotes and contractors who were all over the place with the scope of the project. I reached out to NMTI-GC on a recommendation from a local Facebook group. They pulled permits and started the work within about two weeks and finished it flawlessly in one day. The crew who did the work was professional, efficient, and friendly and the communication ahead of time was great. ""Newton Roofing" had done work for me 25-30 years ago. I didn't know the name had been changed to "Newton Roofing Residential", and was under new management/ownership.I called and Mr. Melo answered right away. I explained the problem. He personally came to inspect the following day. I had feared a new roof might be needed, but he explained the damage was likely caused by a damaged (perforated) shingle. One of his crew came out 2 days later and replaced the shingle. The price was reasonable. I also noted another shingle that lifted, due to a "nail-pop". This, a relatively minor matter, was repaired at no extra charge. I cant' recommend Newton Roofing Residential strongly enough. They were prompt, efficient, professional, and polite. Mr. Melo took the time to explain matters to me in detail. I will certainly be using them for roofing matters in future,"

"I first called another roofer who never came inside to look at the stains or went up on the roof. That roofer said by visual inspection he could tell I did not need a new roof and his company only dealt with replacements. But, he hazarded a guess at what was wrong and said if anyone actually went up on the roof, it would cost around $800. I then called Farina who scheduled an estimate; they arrived on schedule. The gentleman came inside and took pictures of the stains. I received an estimate about a week later and was asked to agree to it or not by email. I agreed and about another week passed and they showed up at my house to do the work, again going inside first to look at where the stains were. The actual work took less than an hour-so far, so good. Assuming that the leak is fixed, the only thing that could have been better was if I was told beforehand when they would do the work, instead of their just showing up. Luckily, I was home."

"FRS Roofing won the bid to fix the main slate roof and the 4 rubber porch roofs on my home. Chris from FRS provided the winning estimate after taking a meticulous inspection of the roofs which included identifying the number of slates needed to restore the main roof. He also explained why the rubber roofs installed by a local contractor 20 years ago had prematurely failed. The FRS work crews assigned to our project were all skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. Every crew member possessed a good demeanor and showed respect for our property. Once started, the job was completed without delay as can sometimes occur when a crew is pulled to work on another project. An unforeseen delay did occur when the chimney was being re-flashed. During the bidding process, all visible sides of the chimney appeared to be in fair shape. Once the crew could see the far side of the chimney, they discovered it was completely devoid of mortar. I was shown a photo of this miracle house of cards and immediately authorized a complete rebuild of the chimney which FRS performed at a reasonable additional cost. There were no surprises with the rubber roofs. The original fiber board underlayment which was disintegrating from water damage was replaced with a new material that is impervious to water. Also, the proper rubber was used on the edge strip to prevent it from peeling off as had happened on the old rubber roof. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to use FRS roofing again for any property new or old!"
