I also had them repair the front doorstep / sill. Family company that has a great crew and was able to complete everything in one day, I couldn't have been happier with the results and my wife is very happy to have all these repairs done. "Install went great. We love our new door. The installers took the time to do it right. They removed the original door without making a big mess or just "banging it out" it was removed smartly to not damage anything that was supposed to remain. They then assessed what they had to work with and built up where needed to make the install of the new door as secure as possible. The new door went in smoothly and looks fantastic. Al throughout the install they would answer any question I had or my children had. They also took care to make sure the alarm wires and doorbell cam were protected from harm during the install and that they worked as expected when done. Although they were pricier than the average I am convinced our new door will outlast us in this home. I would recommend them and will use them again."

"In winter, I can feel the gold wind blowing through openings in my windows and patio door. I’ve been dreading replacing the 5 windows and patio glass door. One window was a bathroom window and had to have tempered glass. The exterior of the windows and doors had to be brown per condo association rules. The first three vendors I spoke with (Renewal by Andersen, Universal Windows Direct, and Magnolia Remodelers) gave me quotes that ranged from $18,275 to $8,000. That price range was too great, so I decided to educate myself about windows before I spoke to other vendors. I learned that what matter most are the window specs (U factor, SGHC, AI, VT, and CR) and the quality of the installation. I then got quotes from 4 other vendors (Lowes, American General Windows & Renovation, Taylor Rae Construction, and James T Markey.) Taylor Rae and James T were my top two contenders because they sold the best windows of the ones I had been quoted (Sunrise and OKNA) and some of their installers were Installation Masters certified installers (Taylor Rae) or American Windows and Doors Institute (AWDI) Certified installers (James T). James T was my top choice because they offered the best product, the best price, and the sales person (Ryan) was great to work with. However, I was concerned about two negative reviews on Angie’s List that no one from James T had responded to. When I went to the showroom to look at the patio door, I told Ryan about my concerns and he went back and spoke to the owner who came out and assured me that he was not aware of the negative reviews on Angie’s List and guaranteed a good installation of the windows. I went with my gut and purchased the windows and door from James T. They were installed last Friday and they look and work wonderfully. I’ll have to wait until winter to do the “cold draft” test, but I’m very pleased so far. Ryan and the office manager both called separately to ask how the installation went."

"We are very pleased. We interviewed a number of security companies and received proposals including DIY to the big national and regional companies. I was not satisfied with any of the companies until I learned of 1stSecurity. Their pricing was good, both for the monthly fee ($40) and for the cost of the equipment. The manager, Jeremy, was very open and straightforward. The installer was also excellent. We asked them to install system prior to a trip we were taking in a few days and they met this short timeframe. The installation took 1-2 hours. The equipment we purchased was fairly extensive as we have a fairly large house and we wanted comprehensive coverage. This included 2 glass break sensors, a motion detector, and numerous door and window switches as well as a fire detection monitor. I accidentally set off the alarm and received a call from the monitoring company in under 10 seconds. The control panel for the system is an easy to use touch screen device, similar to an iPad. The system is very capable so you can connect smart devices to it if so inclined. We have been very pleased with the product and service so far (about 2 months)."

"Ricardo is a a very patient ,responsive, and personable person. I received an estimate on a Thursday and we started the job  a few days later on Monday. The whole job which was a lot of space to cover took 6 days and they arrived early and stayed late when necessary.               
They removed molding and repainted it which is rare with floor installation specialists . In the past, when I had this done at another one of my properties I had to get a  painter to do this trim work. It was nice that they did everything and I didn't have to call someone else to do the paint and molding work.
They also covered everything with plastic throughout my house. I was a little nervous given I have a lot of high end electronics and speakers but  they were covered properly. 
 My house looks great and overall is was a very good experience.
