"They were honest. The project will be to costly as the whole driveway needs replacing and I agree. I was hoping for a fix but that’s not an option"

"The job JRH Asphalt did was absolutely incredible! Our driveway is sloped with a number of areas that needed to be worked around during the paving process. They recommended a multi layer approach, compacting between layers and dealt with every obstacle leaving a final product that was perfect. The JRH Asphalt price was both fair and reasonable, the quality of their work was outstanding and the entire team on site was a pleasure to work with. Thank you!"

"Antonio and his crew did an amazing job. They made a small asphalt repair, sealed cracks and re-sealed the driveway. They performed better than expected. I would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work."

"John and his crew were excellent from start to finish. They transformed are old broken and cracked driveway into beautiful combination of asphalt and paver border with paver apron that John had mentioned We were so impressed with how the driveway was turning out. We decided to have John redo our patio.I couldn’t recommend provision paving and Masonary enough."

"Unlimited Contracting was th wonky one who was honest , advising me not to put a third layer of asphalt on the existing driveway (which we already knew from online research). Other companies were willing to put on an additional layer if we did not want to remove the exi sting. Asphalt and replace, he was not the cheapest or the most expensive, but he did fantastic work. Driveway looks great and drains properly. Will continue to use them for seal coating maintenance. Cannot recommend enough."

Customers say: True professional

"I had initially hired an unscrupulous company to install my driveway. I have a severe slope and once that company had taken up my old driveway…leaving me with just sand, they informed me that they had miscalculated the project and that the price was more than double their initial quote. I fired them and got in touch with Trinity. Trinity did not take advantage of my somewhat desperate position…with my sand washing out into the street every time it rained. Trinity’s quote to finish the project was more than fair and the completed driveway looks great. It’s been about 4 years since we completed this work and we have them back every year to help with seal coating. These are honest people concerned with building and maintaining their reputation. I would strongly recommend them if you are considering a project."

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Red Bank, NJ

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
