After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. "Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."

"The heater had been improperly installed by another company - NOT Worley and Obetz.  We have had W&O maintain the heater  for about 8 years, and they never alerted us to the problems with inadequate ventilation and covered air intakes, which led to overheating and melting of interior parts in the heater.  They replaced these parts last January, but still never told us there was inadequate ventilation in the heater room.  Now that we have a new company maintaining the equipment, we find that the heat exchanger is cracked, explaining the oil smell in the building (It's a church).  Since the heater hasn't been used since last winter, it was probably cracked last winter when the other parts melted and were repaired by W&O.  We aren't happy that there was no warning by the company doing the regular maintenance that the heater was not ventilated or installed properly.  They also failed to deliver oil once last year, and we needed an emergency delivery.  We've changed companies.
