"My lawn was covered with nutgrass (sedge) and the lawn care company I use had been putting out bagged fertilizer with weed killer but it wasn't killing the nutgrass or other weeds.  I called Abcadabra because numerous neighbors use them and the best looking lawns on the street were the ones serviced by this company.  Almost immediately they got rid of the hard-to-kill nutgrass and they continued fertilizing and weed killing all through the summer and into the early fall.  Then they switched to pre-emergent weed killer later in the year.   Abracadabra provides specialized treatment at various times of the year, and I like that much better than having to guess what my lawn needs as I try various experiments. <br /> These folks have every specialized weed killer and lawn food that you will ever need on a large truck that pulls up to your curb.  The chemicals are disbursed in various forms and there are spot treatments as needed.  If I see even one weed pop up, I call them and they come out at no additional charge to kill that weed AND to check the whole yard again to see if anything else needs attention. <br /> Even in drought conditions, my lawn looked great and it had previously been full of all kinds of weeds.  What a difference a regular service can make!  You can have them come out once a year, twice a year or every 3 months.  You definitely get the best result, however, from letting them come to do what needs to be done at exactly the right time to do it.  I am probably going to hire them to treat my trees and shrubs also.  It is so convenient and cost-effective overall. <br /> <br />"

"The arborist examined every tree in the yard and discussed root, bark, and leaf issues particular to each tree, pointing out conditions that were detrimental to the health of the tree and existing conditions that, although present, were not harmful to the tree. He educated us about fertilizing, watering, aerating, and proper root flare exposure. He gave us written instructions on how to care for the trees as well as an estimate for his company to perform some of the recommended treatments. We hired the company to expose the root flares on about 25 mature trees. The crew arrived on time, were expeditious in completing the work, and cleaned up thoroughly. The cost was exactly what was estimated and the consultation fee was applied toward the total cost."
